Moving up swiftly at high pace in just a few days since Sept 13, 2015 when CAT 2015 registration number was around 92000+ the total candidates registered for CAT 2015 have crossed 1.60 lakhs. Sharing with MBAUniverse.com, Prof Tathagata Bandyopadhyay Convener CAT 2015 and faculty at IIM Ahmedabad informed on Sep 19, 2015 “I don't know the exact number but it should be around 1.6 lakhs” . The CAT 2015 convener had earlier reported on Sep 13, 2015 ‘Approximate number of applicants registered so far is over 92000’ With such an earlier decline in number of candidates coming forward to register for CAT 2015 as the total registration was even below 1 lakh, the apprehension was that CAT 2015 registration number might go for a deep dip in comparison to CAT 2014 which had around 1.97 lakhs registered candidates with it. CAT 2015 aspirants may treat it as a windfall to complete their registration and application process without waiting for the extended last date. The suggestion to you is to finalize the registration within 2-3 days from today instead of waiting for the extended last date of registration.
