After announcing the exam dates for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Dec 2015 the registration for the dual mode of exam has been opened by AIMA and will close it on Nov 21. While the last date of buying the application form for MAT Dec 2015 is Nov 21, 2015, for submission of application form the last date is Nov 24, 2015.

MAT Dec 2015 will be held as paper pen based test and also as computer based on-line test across the country. MAT Dec 2015 is the national level exam for admission to MBA/PGDM 2016-18 programme in more than 180 B-schools in India.

Registration dates for MAT Dec 2015 
Registration for MAT Dec 2015 is proposed to be closed on Nov 21, 2015 while the last date of receipt of filled in online registration form at AIMA New Delhi is November 24, 2015.

The Last date of sale of online forms for MAT Dec 2015 test is Nov 21, 2015. Candidates can buy the forms from the designated AIMA Nodal centres across India. Candidates also have the option of online registration for MAT Dec 2015.  However the last date for the on line registration as well as for buying the application form is November 21, 2015. The MAT Dec 2015 registration application complete in all respect should be received at AIMA New Delhi latest by Nov 24, 2015.

Application fee & Registration process
The registration application fee for MAT Dec 2015 is Rs 1200/-. Candidate can choose any one of the following modes to register and apply for MAT Dec 2015

Online
You may register online at AIMA website link for MAT Dec 2015 and can pay through Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card)/Net Banking

By Demand draft
Candidates can obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Then they can register online at AIMA website. You should fill up the registration form along with the DD details.

Offline: Pay cash
Candidates can obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed Nodal Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi.

Choose the test type; can appear in either one
AIMA provides two options to appear in MAT Dec 2015. Candidates can appear either in paper-pen mode examination or in online computer based test. However no candidate can exercise both the options.

Testing schedule
Test dates for Paper pencil mode and for Computer based test in MAT Dec 2015 would be different. Candidates can opt for either of the two.

Paper pencil mode- MAT in Paper pencil mode will be conducted on Sunday Dec 6, 2015. The test will be of 150 minutes and will be conducted from 10 AM to 12.30 PM.

Computer Based online test- Candidates opting for CBT online test will be required to appear in the test from Saturday December 12, 2015 onwards. The test will be held in different time slots subject to availability. According to AIMA ‘If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 12 December 2015 itself.’  It implies that in case there is more number of candidates the test may be conducted in the forthcoming days as well.

60+ test cities for paper pen test
Out of 63 test cities in India and abroad, MAT Dec 2015 in computer based test form will be conducted only at 12 centres. Rest of the test centres will have the facility of paper pen based test. Besides, the venues for paper pencil mode test and computer based tests will also be different from one another.

Admit card for MAT Dec 2015
All the registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based MAT Dec 2015 Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website from Nov 28, 2015 onwards. Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. No separate Admit Card will be issued and sent to a candidate.

Exam Pattern
MAT Dec 2015 will be an objective type test with multiple-choice Questions (MCQs). The test will be divided among 5 key sections on which questions will be formed. AIMA has also prescribed suggested time limit to solve questions in each of the 5 sections in MAT Dec 2015. The test is designed to measure the test taker’s general aptitude in following areas

Declaration of Result
Result for MAT Dec 2015 is expected to be declared in the last week of December, 2015. In fact MAT is the only computer based test the result of which is declared in the same month of the written exam.

The All India management Association (AIMA) conducts Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 4 times in a year. MAT is a national level entrance test for admission to PGDM institutes where thousands of the aspirants test their skills. The 4 MAT exams in a year are conducted in the months of February, May, September and December. MAT Dec 2015 is the last MAT exam in the series in the year 2015 for admission in 2016. The scores of MAT Dec 2015 will be used as admission criteria for MBA/PGDM programmes commencing 2016.
