MAT 2015 September exam has 4 days to go for Paper based test and 10 days for Computer based test. The importance of either mode has its merits. The paper based test will be conducted in 63 test cities in India whereas there are very few centres for computer based test. All India Management Association (AIMA) will conduct MAT 2015 in paper pencil mode on September 6, 2015 and in CBT mode from September 12, 2015 onwards. MAT is an All India test and is gateway to MBA admission in more than 180 management institutes across the country.

Another important announcement from AIMA in regard to MAT 2015 computer based test is If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is few in a particular centre, these candidates have to appear for the Paper-Based Test on 06 September 2015. Accordingly, if you applied late or even early, but the sufficient candidates have not opted for the CBT exam at the chosen centre, your admit card would direct you to take the exam in paper-pencil mode on September 6, 2015.

MAT 2015: 200 MCQs to solve in 150 minutes

MAT 2015 September exam will be an objective type test with multiple-choice answers. The total time duration for the test will be 2 hrs and 30 minutes. The test will comprise 5 main subjects on which questions will be formed. AIMA has also prescribed suggested time limit to solve questions in each of the 5 sections in MAT 2015. The test is designed to measure the test takers general aptitude in following areas

Although MAT is a national level management entrance test, if we measure the past trend in view of expected level of difficulty in MAT 2015, the exam would appear less difficult than CAT and XAT. The computer based MAT 2015 is proposed to be conducted in different Time slots at specific test venues depending upon the number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test. However the paper based MAT 2015 will be held on September 6, 2015 in a single day and single session. The number of registrations in MAT 2015 September exam has also gone up as compared to earlier MAT exams as the half yearly AICTE-CMAT which used to take place in September and February every year has changed its course to yearly exam and is proposed to be conducted sometime in the month of January 2016.
