Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad has re opened its application for Admission 2014 from December 15, 2013. Sharing the rationale behind re opening the application process with MBAUniverse.com once it had closed on October 15, 2013, IMT’s director Dr Bibek Banerjee informed that the application process has been re opened to attract aspirants having diverse profile. “We are conservatively expecting a 10-15% increase in application number from 2013 levels”, said Dr Banerjee.
Informing about the last dates to apply for admission 2014 in IMT, Dr Banerjee informed that, it will be soon after declaration of CAT and XAT results in January 2014. “We want aspirants to make an informed choice, and we will give them time to do so”, he added.
Hoping to attract excellent candidates from diverse backgrounds and possible international environment Dr Bibek Banerjee said, “Keeping this in mind, we want to encourage more of this pool to apply to the various programs that IMT has to offer.”
Dr Banerjee informed that, for the past 2 months (Oct 15th-Dec 15th) IMT has been getting calls and emails from aspirants and industry partners (including alumni) requesting a re-opening of its application process. The aspirants have been mentioning that due to the changing nature of application timelines, more and more of them tend to apply from the time they take CAT and XAT tests. “Keeping these application patterns and high demand for IMT Ghaziabad programs in mind, the Admissions Committee decided to re-open the application cycle to accommodate these students. With this move, IMT hopes to attract candidates with strong credentials into its programs”, he added.

There is only one change as far as the application process for Admission 2014 in IMT is concerned and that is in the mode of payment of application fees. In this round of applications IMT will only be accepting online payments via Credit/Debit cards and not demand drafts.
Established in 1980 IMT Ghaziabad has been a well known B School for more than 30 years. Its flagship campus is located at Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. It also has three other campuses, one in Nagpur and one in Hyderabad, one in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
There are 420 seats in IMT Ghaziabad’s 2 year PGDM course. The total fees for the 2-year Full-Time PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad including food and lodging was Rs 15 lakhs for the academic session 2013-15.
