The Hindu BusinessLine-MBAUniverse.com Ranking is purely based on Factual Data (no Perception Surveys used), on key parameters that measure the Input (Student Quality), Processes (Academics) and Outcomes (Research & Placements) of a Business School. As a long-standing practice, post the survey, key data points of participating B-schools are released alongwith survey results for complete transparency.

As per recommendations of Advisory Committee, research agency will thoroughly verify the data provided by participating institutes through field visits by researchers/experts, AICTE & UCG records, official website, and surprise checks. In cases of any discrepancies, the concerned institute will not be ranked for next three years.

Eminent Advisory Committee to supervise
The Ranking 2017 will be conducted under the supervision of an eminent Advisory Committee. Dr Bakul Dholakia, Former Director, IIM Ahmedabad & Former Director General, IMI New Delhi is the Advisory Body Chairman for Rankings 2017. He stepped down from his role as IMI DG on September 14. Other members of advisory body includeMr Raghavan Srinivasan,Editor, BusinessLine and Dr R K Shukla,Market Research Guru, Former Director, NCAER Center Macro Consumer Research and MD, ICE360.

The Rankings will be released in November 2016 and will be published by The Hindu, BusinessLine & MBAUniverse.com.
