Great Lakes Institute of Management will shortlist candidates based on All India CMAT Ranks for admission to its Chennai and Gurgaon campuses and has announced different cut off ranks for both campuses, as NTA has not released CMAT percentile. The application form deadline for one year PGPM and two year PGDM admission 2022 is closing on May 4, 2022

5.5 Step-4: Final Selection Process & Merit List Generation for Great Lakes Admission

Great Lakes Institute of Management offers its flagship 1 year full time residential Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) as well as 2 Years full time Post graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). However, based on their duration, curriculum structure, industry requirement among other factors, the Great Lakes Eligibility criteria for admission to both the programmes differ.

Applicants should ensure that they meet the Great Lakes eligibility criteria, have appeared or have registered for the required CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT exam, the scores of which are accepted by Great Lakes for Admission. 7.1 Great Lakes Eligibility Criteria 2022 for 1 Year PGPM Admission

  • For PGPM 2022-23, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept scores of GMAT taken between 1st January 2019 and December 1, 2021, CAT taken in 2020/2021, XAT taken in 2021/2022 or CMAT taken in 2021/2022
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least 50% in graduation is the minimum academic qualification required
  • Candidates with more than two years of work experience are considered for admission. Exceptional students with 18+ months of experience (by April 30th, 2022) may be considered.

7.2 Great Lakes Eligibility Criteria 2022 for 2 Years PGDM Admission

  • For Great Lakes PGDM Admission, all applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
  • Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for Great Lakes PGDM Admission 2022 
  • It is mandatory for a final year student, who is provisionally considered eligible by Great Lakes Institute of Management and offered admission, to submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor's degree examination held on or before June 30, 2022 at a later date as decided by Great Lakes.
  • Only Fresh Graduates and candidates with less than 24 months of work experience after graduation as on 30th June 2022 are eligible to apply. Candidates with greater than 24 months of work- experience should apply for the Great lakes one year PGPM program.
  • Internship or part time work experience is not considered. Only full time work experience is considered. However, full time work experience as an entrepreneur or in family business will be taken into account.
  • All PGDM applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management.
  • For PGDM 2022, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept CAT scores of years 2020/ 2021 or XAT scores of years 2021/2022 or GMAT scores taken after Jan 1, 2020 or CMAT scores of the year 2021/2022.
  • Great Lakes awards a special preference for College/University rank holders. The onus of proof of rank is vested in the applicant.
