FIIB gets new Director-General

Delhi based Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) has got a new Director-General in Professor AK Puri.

He succeeds Prof. Ahindra Chakrabarti. Prof Puri, in his long academic career, has been associated with many B-schools including Institute of Management Technology (IMT) and FORE School of Management.   

Established in 1995, Fortune Institute of International Business has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Post Graduate Diploma in Management (International Business), awarded by FIIB, is recognised by AICTE as equivalent to MBA.  

Prof. A.K. Puri has been an accomplished management teacher, corporate trainer and academic administrator. He is a member of the Board of Governors in a couple of educational institutes. He brings to FIIB, a wealth of strong management and leadership qualities successfully demonstrated during his 32 years of service, 14 years in industry and 18 years in academics at senior positions. Prof. Puri has conducted a large number of Management Development Programmes both for private and public organisations. He has organised Faculty Development Programmes for faculty of business schools.

FIIB has designed an exhaustive International Business curriculum, which deals with hardcore geopolitical issues concerning international business. Many uncovered areas of International Trade have been developed by the Institute as electives to cater to the growing needs of the industry. 

FIIB has also obtained ISO-9001:2000 certification.
