Karnataka Management Aptitude Test to be held on July 8

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) for the year 2007 is going to be held on Sunday, July 8, 2007.

According to the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA), the body that conducts the exam, “KMAT is conducted to fill all seats in the MBA programs offered by AICTE approved University affiliated self-financing colleges in Karnataka.”

This year management institutes participating in KMAT include Acharya Institute of Management, Bangalore; Alliance Business Academy, Bangalore; Advanced Management College, Bangalore; Bangalore Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore; CMR Institute of Management Studies, Bangalore; Regional Institute of Co-operative Management, Bangalore; The Oxford College of Business Management, Bangalore; and others.

According to KPPGCA, the test will be conducted at different centers in Karnataka including Bangalore, Belgaum, Bellary, Bijapur, Davangere, Gulbarga, Hubli, Mangalore, Mysore, Shimoga, Tumkur and Udupi.

The results will be declared by July 15, 2007.

KPPGCA was established in 29January 2003. The KMAT is permitted by Government of Karnataka and is monitored by the “committee for overseeing the entrance test conducted by the association of private professional colleges” constituted by the government of Karnataka in accordance with Supreme Court judgment.
