IBA is one of the leading PGDM colleges in Delhi NCR that focuses on building the fundamental concepts in all functional areas. In the first year, subjects such as Marketing, Finance, IT, Human Resource, Operations, IB and General Management are taught.
In the second year, students are offered a pool of elective subjects besides the certain core courses. Based on their area of interest, they can opt for any combination of electives, a practice followed by every top B-school in the world. The list of electives is finalized every year by a team of faculty members and industry professionals based on the present industrial requirements, which is shared with students before the beginning of the term.
Between the first and second year, it is mandatory for every student to join a Summer Internship Project (commonly referred as, SIP) in industry for a duration of 2-3 months. The Institute’s Placement Cell helps the students to identify and get good internship opportunities in the industry.
