The morning session of CAT 2016, which began at 9AM today on December 4, got over a few minutes back. According to experts, in Verbal was tough, DI was easier, and Quant was deceptive in the morning session of CAT 2016. There were changes in exam pattern and marking. Instead of 3 marks per question only 1 mark was allocated. This changed has happened after 2009.

DILR

-- 8 Qs on Non MCQ
-- Rest 24 MCQs
-- All Qs in Sets of 4 Qs each
Quantitative
-- Total Questions in Quantitative: 34
-- Difficulty Level of DILR Section: First few Qs were difficult, then rest were on easier lines

-- More Arithmetic based Qs on %, Profit & Loss, Time & Speed etc
-- No of Non MCQs reduced from 10 to 7
