Top 5 B-schools in Non-IIM category and accepting CAT 2016 scores for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes will be closing their admission application process in a few days from now. If you are appearing in CAT 2016, it is the last opportunity for you to apply to FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, SPJIMR Mumbai, IMI New Delhi and IMT Ghaziabad before these top B-schools close their admission application process in next few days.

While FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon and IMT Ghaziabad propose to close their admission application process before CAT 2016 exam day which falls on December 4 and the last date to apply in these 3 top B-schools will be November 30, December 2 and December 1, 2016 respectively, the application process at SPJIMR Mumbai and IMI New Delhi remains open till the 2nd week of December 2016.

FMS Delhi: Last date to apply – Nov 30
Only 2 days are left to apply for admission to MBA 2017-19 at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi. FMS Delhi which used to shortlist the candidates on the basis of overall CAT scores, has announced different admission 2017 criteria for CAT 2016 toppers to improve the ratio of non-engineers in its MBA 2017-19 batch. Apart from scoring a high percentile in CAT 2016, candidates will have to ensure that they also score a high sectional score as each section will be awarded varying weightage at the time of shortlisting. Different weightages shall be assigned to the scores of different sections of the CAT 2016 while shortlisting candidates for Extempore and PI round,. A composite score shall be computed giving weightages of 30%, 30%, and 40% to the scores of QA, DI/LR and VRC sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre for the CAT 2016 Examination for candidates who apply to FMS.

Treated at par with many of the IIMs and one the most sought after B-schools in Delhi NCR, Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon is known to be the dream campus of CAT 2016 aspirants.

Accredited by AMBA, MDI Gurgaon has been placed at 9th position in The Week Ranking 2016 and at 12 in Outlook Rankings 2016. Business-Line MBAUniverse.com Ranking 2016-17 is under process and yet to be announced for the top B-schools in India.

MDI Gurgaon will shortlist the candidates on the basis of CAT 2016 high percentile scores. In 2016 admission process, the cut-off went beyond 94 percentile. IMT Ghaziabad, an AACSB accredited B-school, has consistently been ranked among top B-schools by various credible ranking agencies. The B-school has 3 national and one foreign campus offering PGDM/MBA courses.
