MBA CET 2020 is the common entrance test for MBA/MMS admission 2020 in 400 MBA colleges of Maharashtra. Among the Common Entrance Tests (CETs) for various courses, the MBA CET is the specific MBA entrance exam conducted by DTE Maharashtra.


MAH MBA CET offers opportunity of MBA admission 2020 in JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, Welingkar, N L Dalmia, CIMR and other top MBA colleges. Through the MAH CET MBA exam not only Maharashtra State domicile candidates get admission in MBA colleges in Maharashtra but also 15% seats in the top MBA colleges of Maharashtra are reserved for All India category candidates. 


The MBA CET 2020 exam dates are March 14 & 15, 2020 as announced by DTE Maharashtra. MAH MBA CET 2020 is a computer based test.

MAH CET MBA: Also Known as DTE MBA
MAH CET MBA is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra and is a yearly exam. As such the CET 2020 is also known as DTE MBA exam since the entire MBA/MMS admission process for Maharashtra MBA colleges is conducted by DTE Maharashtra through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for all the participating MBA colleges in Maharashtra.


MAH MBA/MMS CET 2020 Notification
The MBA CET 2020 Notification was released by DTE Maharashtra for MBA/MMS Admission on January 10, 2020.  The CET 2020 exam dates are March 14 & 15, 2020. MBA CET 2020 Registration date started on January 10 immediately after the CET complete schedule was announced by DTE Maharashtra.


MAH MBA CET 2020 Registration
The MAH-MBA CET 2020 Registration and application process started on January 10, 2020. MAH-CET 2020 registration fee is Rs.800/- for Maharashtra State candidates and Rs.1000/- for All India Category candidates. 15% seats in almost all the top MBA colleges of Maharashtra are reserved for All India candidates. JBIMS Mumbai: Admission Through MBA CET 2020
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), University of Mumbai will offer Admission to its two years full time MMS 2020-22 batch through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra in June/July 2020 after MAH CET 2020 Result declaration. The registration and application process for DTE CAP 2020 would open around May 15, 2020 and will be online process.


JBIMS Mumbai admission policy and admission process for MMS 2020-22 batch is not changed so far and therefore the B-school will accept CAT 2019, MAH MBA CET 2020 and CMAT 2020 scores. The admission process will be through DTE CAP 2020 as was last year. Although JBIMS does not announce individual cut offs but the JBIMS MAH-CET cut offs as announced by DTE Maharashtra after different CAP rounds reveal a percentile cut off at 98-99.

MAH MBA CET 2020 Exam Pattern
MAH MBA CET 2020 Exam for admission to MBA/MMS 2020-22 course will be held as an online computer based test. CET 2020 exam pattern as informed by DTE Maharashtra consists of 200 questions divided in 3 sections. MAH MBA CET 2020 Admit Card: Download Starts from March 1, 2020
The MBA CET 2020 Admit card for MAH MBA/MMS CET 2020 exam will be out on March 1, 2020. Candidates can download their MAH MBA CET 2020 call letter from official website link for MBA/MMS CET 2020 exam. All India Candidates: Admission Process Through MBA CET 2020
All India Candidates seeking admission for 15% All India seats in MBA/MMS 2020 programs in Maharashtra B-schools will be considered for admission on the basis of MAH MBA CET 2020, CAT 2019, CMAT 2020, XAT 2020, ATMA 2019 & 2020, MAT (Dec 2019, Feb 2020) entrance exam scores.


Earlier DTE Maharashtra vide its notification ref. 2A/ADM/MBA-MMS/2017/1221 dated October 18, 2017 had clarified that except MAH-CET, CAT and CMAT, the all India category candidates could not apply for MBA admission to the B-schools whose admission process is governed by DTE Maharashtra. However, later on it was changed and many B-schools in Maharashtra were allowed to accept scores of other exams also for All India category candidates.  


There are about 40,000 MBA/MMS seats in 330 MBA colleges of Maharashtra which are to be filled up through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2020 to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra in the month of June and July 2020. The list of MBA colleges released by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra on its website includes JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, PUMBA, N L Dalmiya and other prominent Autonomous University colleges, University departments, Government and University Managed MBA Colleges, Aided and Unaided Private and Minority MBA colleges among others.
