MBA CET 2019

MBA CET 2019 is the common entrance test or MBA entrance exam for MBA/MMS admission 2019 in 400 MBA colleges of Maharashtra. The MBA CET 2019 exam dates have been announced and the MAH MBA CET 2019 will be held on March 9 and 10, 2019 as a computer based test.


MAH MBA CET 2019 offers opportunity of MBA admission 2019 in JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, Welingkar, N L Dalmia, CIMR and other top MBA colleges. Through MAH CET MBA exam not only Maharashtra State domicile candidates get admission in MBA colleges in Maharashtra but also 15% seats in the top MBA colleges of Maharashtra are reserved for All India category candidates.


MAH CET MBA: Also Known as DTE MBA
MAH CET MBA is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra and is a yearly exam. As such the CET 2019 is also known as DTE MBA exam since the entire MBA/MMS admission process for Maharashtra MBA colleges is conducted by DTE Maharashtra through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for all the participating MBA colleges in Maharashtra.


MAH MBA/MMS CET 2019 Notification
The MBA CET 2019 Notification was released by DTE Maharashtra for MBA/MMS Admission 2019 on January 14, 2019.  The CET 2019 exam dates are March 9 & 10, 2019. MBA CET 2019 Registration  date begins on January 10, 2019 after the CET 2019 complete schedule has been announced by DTE Maharashtra.


DTE Maharashtra vide its ref. No. State CET Cell/Tentative Schedule/2019-20/2019 dated 20/12/2018 notifies that the MAH CET 2019 exam dates are March 9 and 10, 2019. According to the Notification, "Master in Business Administration & Master in Management Studies MAH MBA/MMS CET-2019 will be held on 09/03/2019 & 10/03/2019 as Online test."


MAH MBA CET 2019 Registration
The MAH MBA CET 2019 Registration and application last date is February 18, 2019. The registration process was started on Janusry 10, 2019.  MAH-CET 2019 registration fee is Rs.800/- for Maharashtra State candidates and Rs.1000/- for All India Category candidates. 15% seats in almost all the top MBA colleges of Maharashtra are reserved for All India candidates. JBIMS Mumbai: Admission Through MBA CET 2019
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), University of Mumbai will offer Admission to its two years full time MMS 2019-21 batch through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra in June 2019 after MAH CET 2019 Result declaration. The registration and application process for DTE CAP 2018 would open around May 15, 2019 and will be online process.


JBIMS Mumbai admission policy and admission process for MMS 2019-21 batch is not changed so far and therefore the B-school will accept CAT 2018, MAH MBA CET 2019 and CMAT 2019 scores. The admission process will be through DTE CAP 2019 as was last year. Although JBIMS does not announce individual cut offs but the JBIMS MAH CET cut offs as announced by DTE Maharashtra after different CAP rounds reveal a percentile cut off at 98-99.

MAH MBA CET 2019 Admit Card: Download Starts from March 1
The MBA CET 2019 Admit card for MAH MBA MMS CET 2019 exam will be out on march 1, 2019. Candidates can download their MAH MBA CET 2019 call letter from official website link for MBA/MMS CET 2019 exam. All India Candidates: Admission Process Through MBA CET 2019
All India Candidates seeking admission for 15% All India seats in MBA/MMS 2019 programmes in Maharashtra B-schools will be considered for admission on the basis of MAH MBA CET 2019, CAT 2018 and CMAT 2019, XAT 2019, ATMA 2018 & 2019 (Dec, Feb), MAT (Dec 2018, Feb 2019) entrance exam scores.


Earlier DTE Maharashtra vide its notification ref. 2A/ADM/MBA-MMS/2017/1221 dated October 18, 2017 had clarified that except MAH CET, CAT and CMAT, the all India category candidates could not apply for MBA admission to the B-schools whose admission process is governed by DTE Maharashtra. However, later on it was changed and many B-schools in Maharashtra were allowed to accept scores of other exams also for All India category candidates.  


There are about 40,000 MBA/MMS seats in 330 MBA colleges of Maharashtra which are to be filled up through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2019 to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra in the month of June and July 2019. The list of MBA colleges released by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra on its website includes JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, PUMBA, N L Dalmiya and other prominent Autonomous University colleges, University departments, Government and University Managed MBA Colleges, Aided and Unaided Private and Minority MBA colleges among others.
