MAH CET MBA: Also Known as DTE MBA
MAH CET MBA is conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra and is a yearly exam. As such the CET 2021 is also known as DTE MBA exam since the entire MBA/MMS admission process for Maharashtra MBA colleges is conducted by DTE Maharashtra through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for all the participating MBA colleges in Maharashtra.
MAH MBA/MMS CET 2021 Notification
The MBA CET 2021 Notification was released by DTE Maharashtra for MBA/MMS Admission in June 2021 second week. MBA CET 2021 Registration date is open till August 16, 2021 till 11.59 PM.
MAH MBA CET 2021 Registration
The MAH-MBA CET 2021 Registration and application process has started on June 22 and was closed on July 19, 2021. The process was reopened on August 12 and closed on August 16, 2021.
MAH-CET 2021 registration fee is Rs.800/- for Maharashtra State candidates and Rs.1000/- for All India Category candidates. 15% seats in almost all the top MBA colleges of Maharashtra are reserved for All India candidates. JBIMS Mumbai: Admission Through MBA CET 2021
Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), University of Mumbai will offer Admission to its two years full time MMS 2021-23 batch through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) to be conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra in October/November 2021 after MAH CET 2021 Result declaration.
JBIMS Mumbai admission policy and admission process for MMS 2021-23 batch is not changed so far and therefore the B-school will accept CAT 2020, MAH MBA CET 2021 and CMAT 2021 scores. The admission process will be through DTE CAP 2021 as was last year. Although JBIMS does not announce individual cut offs but the JBIMS MAH-CET cut offs as announced by DTE Maharashtra after different CAP rounds reveal a percentile cut off at 98-99.

The MBA CET 2021 Admit card release date for MAH MBA/MMS CET 2021 exam is September 10, 2021. All India Candidates: Admission Process Through MBA CET 2021
All India category Candidates seeking admission for 15% All India seats in MBA/MMS 2021 programs in Maharashtra B-schools will be considered for admission on the basis of MAH MBA CET 2021, CAT 2020, CMAT 2021, XAT 2021, ATMA 2020 & 2021, MAT (Dec 2020, Feb 2021. May 2021) entrance exam scores.
DTE Maharashtra vide its notification ref. 2A/ADM/MBA-MMS/2017/1221 dated October 18, 2017 had clarified that except for MAH-CET, CAT and CMAT, the all India category candidates could not apply for MBA admission to the B-schools whose admission process is governed by DTE Maharashtra. However, later on it was changed and many B-schools in Maharashtra were allowed to accept scores of other exams also for All India category candidates.
There are about 40,000 MBA/MMS seats in more than 330 MBA colleges of Maharashtra which are to be filled up through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2021. The process, conducted by DTE Maharashtra in June, is delayed this year due to serious covid pandemic and will be conducted sometime in August/September, 2021. The list of MBA colleges released by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra on its website includes JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, PUMBA, N L Dalmiya and other prominent Autonomous University colleges, University departments, Government and University Managed MBA Colleges, Aided and Unaided Private and Minority MBA colleges among others.
