CET Cell Official Notification: MBA CET 2026 Registration Reopened for April 24

All concerned candidates are hereby informed that the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, will conduct the Online Common Entrance Test (CET) for MBA/MMS courses for the Academic Year 2026–27. 

While the initial registration process and subsequent extensions have concluded, the State CET Cell has received numerous requests from candidates who missed the application window. These requests were received via in-person visits, emails, and phone calls. 

In consideration of these requests, it has been decided to grant a special one-day window on 24 APR 2026 for online registration and application form filling for the second attempt of the MBA/MMS CET 2026. This facility is subject to a late fee of ₹500/-. 

Important Instructions: 

• During this period, candidates can register for second attempt if they have missed the initial registration window.
• Candidates already registered for both attempts do not need to register again.
• Candidates who have not yet generated their APAAR ID are required to create one through Digi Locker.
• Please note that no edit facility will be available for candidates registering during this extension period. Ensure all entered information is correct before submission.
• Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for further updates, detailed schedules, and examination instructions.

CET Cell reopened MBA CET 2026 registration window for the second attempt on April 24, 2026. The MAH MBA CET 2026 application form filling process is a two-stage process beginning with portal registration and mandatory identity authentication. After verification, you must complete your profile by entering personal details, domicile status, and academic scores for SSC and HSC/Diploma. Once your profile is completed, select the "MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026" exam tab, which will automatically pre-fill the form with your saved data. Fill your application and make fee payment. Step 1: Portal Access & Initial Sign-up: Visit the official CET Cell website https://cetcell.mahacet.org/, navigate to the 2026-27 Examination Portal, and click "New User" to create your basic account.

Step 2: Identity Authentication (DigiLocker): Link your Aadhaar and APAAR ID via DigiLocker. This requires OTP validation and providing consent to share documents, ensuring your profile is verified.

Step 3: Profile Building (Personal & Contact): Complete the User Info Form including APAAR ID, family details, religion, and income. Enter your permanent and correspondence addresses accurately.

Step 4: Academic & Domicile Declaration: Enter your Maharashtra Domicile status, disability details (if applicable), and comprehensive educational scores for SSC (10th) and HSC/Diploma (12th).

Step 5: Exam Selection & Preference: Access the "MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026" tab from your dashboard. Fill in category-specific details and select your preferred examination districts/cities.

Step 6: Fee Payment & Enrolment: Complete the online application fee payment. Once "Enrolled" status appears in green, download and print the final application PDF for your records.

How to Register for MH CET Exam 2026-27? Here is a step-by-step guide to register for MAH MBA CET exam 2026. 

1. Visit MAH CET Official Website https://cetcell.mahacet.org/   
2. Click on link for CET Examination Portal for A.Y 2026-27  
3. Click on “New User” registration tab to start registration process. Existing users can log in using their registered email ID and password. 

4. Once you click on New User “Register” button you will get redirected to registration page. Enter following details in the form.

• Email – enter the input
• Password – enter the input as per guidelines
• Confirm password – enter the same input as password field  
• Mobile number – enter the input
• Date of Birth – enter the input

5. Once the details are filled click on “Register” button. 

6. Once successfully registered you reach “email verification page”. Click on “Click here”. 

7. Once you click on “click here” you will be directed to the verification email received on your registered email id. You have to then click on “Verify Email”. 

8. Once your Email verification for registration process is complete, you will get a pop up on your screen for Aadhar and APAAR ID authentication. Check image below. Click on “Proceed to Digilocker”. 

9. Once you click on “Proceed to Digilocker” it will ask you to validate your Aadhar Card. Add your Aadhaar Card number and click on next.

10. You will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your phone. You need to enter the received OTP and click on submit.

11. Enter your Six-digit security PIN number to sign in into your “DigiLocker” account and click on “Done” tab.

12. Next step is to provide consent to share the identity proofs through “DigiLocker”. Select your Aadhar Card and APAAR ID or select all documents and click on “Allow” to proceed.

13. Once your Aadhar card and APAAR ID is authenticated, a MAH MBA CET registration process will move to the next stage. Now a User Info Form will open where you will have to enter the following details.

• APAAR ID - Click on the field and enter input.
• Mobile number – Click on the field and enter input.
• Candidate’s Name - Click on field and enter Candidate’s Name.
• Fathers Name – Click on field and enter fathers first name only.
• Mother’s Name – Click on the field and enter Mother’s first name only.
• Gender – Click on the dropdown and select the gender.
• Religion – Click on the dropdown and select the religion.
• Region – Click on the dropdown and select the region.
• Mother Tongue – Click on the dropdown and select your Mother Tongue.
• Nationality – Click on the dropdown and select your Nationality.
• Annual Family Income – Click on the dropdown and select the income bracket for your Annual Family Income.

14. Marital Status – Click on the dropdown and select you Marital Status.

15. Once you have entered all your personal details scroll down on the “Permanent Address” and enter below details.

• Address Line 1 – Select the field and enter input
• Address Line 2 – Select the field and enter input
• Address Line 3 – Select the field and enter input
• State – Click on the dropdown and select the State
• District – Click on the dropdown and select the State
• Taluka – Click on the dropdown and select the State
• Village – Click on the dropdown and select the State
• Pincode – Select the field and enter input
• STD Code – Select the field and enter input 

Phone No/Mobile No –  Select the field and enter input

Once the “Permanent Address Details” are added, you may select “Same as Permanent Address” at the top right-hand side if your correspondence address is the same as your permanent address.  

16. If your correspondence address is different from your permanent address, please enter the below details in the “Address for Correspondence” section. 

Address Line 1 – Select the field and enter input 
Address Line 2 – Select the field and enter input 
Address Line 3 – Select the field and enter input 
State – Click on the dropdown and select the State 
District – Click on the dropdown and select the State 
Taluka – Click on the dropdown and select the State 
Village – Click on the dropdown and select the State 
Pincode – Select the field and enter input 

17. Once you have entered the correspondence address details, the next section of “Other Details”. You need to enter the below details in the other details section.

• Are you Domiciled in the State of Maharashtra? – Select from the dropdown (Yes/No)
• Are you Person with Disability - Select from the dropdown (Yes/No) o Type of Disability - Select from the dropdown. o Subtype of Disability - Select from the dropdown. o Disability Percentage - Select from the dropdown. o Nature of Disability -  Select from the dropdown.
• UDID No. / Disability Certificate No. - Select from the dropdown.
• Type of Disability – If yes then the select from the drop down the type of disability.
• Select SSC/Equivalent Passing Year – Select from your passing year for SSC examination
• SSC/ Equivalent Total Percentage – click on the field and enter aggregate percentage for SSC.
• Select SSC/Equivalent Board – Click on the dropdown to select the Board name
• Select SSC School State – Click on the dropdown and select the School state
• Are you Appearing/Appeared for 12th HSC/Diploma exam in 2025 – Click on the drop down to select. Yes/No

18. Once you have entered the details for your SSC Exam, go the below section for entering your HSC exams details. You need to enter the below details in this section. 

• Select HSC/Diploma Passing Year – Click on the drop down and select the passing year
• Select HSC/Diploma Equivalent Board – Click on the dropdown and select the Board name
• Marks Type – Click on the dropdown to select the percentage type (Percentage/CGPA)
• HSC/Diploma Marks out of – Select on the field and enter total (Percentage/CGPA)
• HSC/Diploma Marks Obtained – Click on the field and enter total marks obtained (Percentage CGPA)
• HSC/Diploma Calculated/Equivalent Percentage – Total percentage will be auto populated  

19. Click on Save changes once the details are filled. 
     
20. On successful submission, your MAH MBA CET exam registration process is complete. You will be navigated to MAH MBA CET Candidate’s Dashboard, which has options like CET Registration, Edit Profile, Help Desk, Hall ticket etc. Check image below.

21. If you click on CET registration, it will open a window listing all available exams governed by MHCET. Only the active exams will be clickable and show the status. You will see a tab that says MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026 - Registration has started.

22. Clicking on MAH MBA/MMS CET 2026 exam tab and reach specific exam registration start page.

23. While applying for MAH MBA CET 2026 exam and filling out exam form, your candidate's data that is already captured while registration process will be pre filled. Any other required details and items have to be filled by candidates explicitly. 

24. Fill the MAH MBA CET 2026 application form completely with the below details:

• Your Category Details
• Your Qualification details
• Your Preferred Examination Districts

25. Proceed to pay the MAH MBA CET 2026 application form fee online and wait for the payment confirmation.

26. Click on “Print the Application Form” and save the PDF soft copy version for reference.

27. On successful submission of exam application, your MAH MBA CET 2026 application number will get generated. 
 
28. On successful fee payment, the status of the application form tab will get updated to “ENROLLED” in green colour as follows.  

MAH MBA MMS CET 2026 Application Fees is divided into two categories:

• For Open Category from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates, MAH MBA CET 2026 Application Fees is Rs 1500.
• For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A),NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, *SEBC, EWS] or Person With Disability (PWD), belonging to Maharashtra State Only, MAH MBA CET 2026 Application Fees is Rs 1300.  

If the candidate takes the second attempt of MAH MBA CET exam in May, the fees will be doubled to Rs 3000 for first category and 2600 for second category.

This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

Following is the list of MAH MBA CET 2026 registration documents that are required during registration process:

• Documents for Identity & Authentication:
  o Aadhaar Card (Number required for DigiLocker validation).
  o APAAR ID (Required for authentication and profile entry).
  o DigiLocker Account Credentials (Including your 6-digit security PIN).
   
• Academic Records Documents:
  o SSC (10th) Marksheet/Certificate: For Board name, Passing Year, and Total Percentage.
  o HSC (12th) / Diploma Marksheet: For Board name, Passing Year, Marks Obtained, and Total Marks.
   
• Category & Eligibility Documents:
  o Domicile Details: Information regarding Maharashtra state domicile status.
  o Category Proofs: Documentation for social category selection.
  o Disability Certificate / UDID No: Required specifically for "Person with Disability" candidates.
   
• Financial & Personal Information Documents:
  o Annual Family Income details (to select the appropriate income bracket).
  o Valid Mobile Number and Email Address (for registration and OTP verification).
  o Bank Account Details (for online fee payment)

• Verification of Information: The State CET CELL reserves the right to verify the candidate’s personal details and photographs at any stage of the registration or admission process.
• Aadhaar Details Update: Candidates must ensure that the details on their Aadhaar Card are accurate and updated.
• APAAR ID Verification: During CET registration, the State CET CELL will also carry out APAAR ID verification via Digi locker. Candidates must ensure their APAAR ID details are valid and up to date.
• Document Readiness: Candidates are advised to keep all relevant documents readily available during registration to ensure a smooth verification process.
• Photo Specifications: As part of the registration process, the application form has the provision to upload the candidate’s photograph to complete the examination registration process. The photograph to be uploaded should meet the following requirements:
• The photograph should be 2-inch x 2 inch (50 mm x 50 mm) in size, in colour and should cover 80% of the photo.
• The photograph should be Minimum 100KB to Maximum 5MB in size
• Photo should present Full face, front view, eyes open.
• Photo should present full head from top of hair to bottom of chin.
• The expression on the face should be neutral.
• Center head within frame.
• Background should be plain light colored or white.
• No shadows on the face or on the background.
• Head coverings are not permitted except for religious reasons, but the facial features from bottom of chin to top of forehead and both edges of the face must be clearly shown.
• Please upload high resolution and clear pictures only.
