MAH MBA CET Exam Centres 2026: Released; Check Confirmed List of 36 Test Centres

Following last year’s examination security concerns, Maharashtra State CET Cell has announced that all CET exams, including MBA CET, will not be held at centers outside Maharashtra. The official MAH MBA CET notification says that MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2026 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra only. It does not mention any states or cities outside Maharashtra. Last year, the five-year MAH LLB CET 2025 results showed that all four top scorers were from a single exam centre in Patna, Bihar, sparking suspicion. Earlier, in March 2025, before the MAH MBA CET exam some students reportedly receiving unsolicited calls offering admission to top institutes for hefty sums of amount in range from Rs 11 to Rs 20 lakh. Following these incidents, Maharashtra’s Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil announced that Maharashtra will no longer conduct Common Entrance Tests (CETs) outside the state. He said, “To ensure transparency, CETs will no longer be held outside of Maharashtra.”

The official MAH MBA CET notification says “MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2026 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra.” Check complete notification below. It does not mention any states or cities outside Maharashtra. On Page 8 of the official notification, CET cell has given following details about MAH MBA CET 2026 exam centres: 

Test Centre for CET:- 

1. MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2026 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra. The cities in which MAH- MBA/MMS CET 2026 will be conducted are designated as "Centre" for the CET.
2. Each center may have many "Venues" depending upon the number of candidates appearing at that center.
3. A candidate appearing for CET shall give his/her preference for the centre, however the Competent Authority reserves the right to allocate the centre and venue.
4. The examination will be conducted online at venues given in the respective Hall Ticket.
5. No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.
6. Competent Authority, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
7. Competent Authority also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for.

Following this notification, all Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates will be required to travel to Maharashtra to take the exam. There are 36 test cities within Maharashtra, including Mumbai and Pune, where the MAH MBA CET exam will be conducted. Candidates can select one of these centres that is convenient to them. MAH MBA CET 2026 registration process is open till February 12, 2026. MAH MBA CET 2026 Test city preference can be exercised at the time of registering and applying for the MAH CET exam. 

How to Select MAH MBA CET 2026 Test City? While filling up the MAH MBA CET 2026 application form, candidates will be asked to select their preferred test city for centre allotment. You can select test city though following process:

• Create a login as cetcell.mahacet.org
• Go to MBA/MMS portal to fill the application form
• Enter relevant details
• On the page indicating test centres select 3 cities
• Select test cities in order of preference 1-2-3
• Fill rest of the fields, pay the fee and submit the form

Important documents required at MAH MBA CET exam center are detailed in the MAH CET admit card. Without these documents you will not be allowed to appear in the exam. Below are the key documents required at MBA CET 2026 exam centers:

• Carry the Hard copy of MAH CET Admit Card with your recent passport size photograph duly pasted on it. (Preferably the same photograph as was uploaded).
• Bring one of the following currently valid Photo identity proof in original at the MAH CET 2026 test centre - PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving Licence/Voter’s Card/ Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead /Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead/Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognised College/University/Aadhar Card with a photograph/Employee ID/Bar Council Identity card with photograph.
• Please Note - Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will NOT be accepted as valid ID proof for this project.
• In case of candidates who have changed their name will be allowed only if they produce Gazette notification/their marriage certificate/affidavit.
• You should also bring with you a ball-point pen.
• Persons with Disabilities (PWD) should carry the valid certificate and should contact the Test Centre Administrator of the test venue at least 30 minutes before the time of examination for assistance in seating, if needed.

CEL Cell issues official MAH MBA CET 2026 Exam Day Instructions to all candidates in form of instructions on MAH MBA CET Admit Card. Based on previous years admit card, MAH MBA CET Exam Day Instructions are given below:

1. Candidate should reach the CET Examination Centre before the Gate Closure Time mentioned on the Admit Card. Candidate will not be allowed to enter the CET examination Centre after the Gate Closure Time.

2. You will be required to enter the User name (Roll Number) & Password (DOB in Format DDMMYYYY), as mentioned in the Admit Card, to enter the On-Line exam site. Please ensure that your Name and other details which will subsequently appear on the screen are correct. You must maintain secrecy of the username & password. The examination will be conducted online.

3. Biometric data (left and right fingerprint) and live photograph will be taken at the examination venue and matches with the photograph uploaded by the candidate in online application form. If any objection is made to the verification of biometric data at any time during the examination, the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled. In this regard, the following points are applicable:

   - If there is any coating on the fingers (ink/mehndi/paint etc.), wash them and ensure that the coating is completely removed before the examination day.

   - If there is dirt or dust on the fingers, wash them before taking fingerprints and ensure that the fingers are dry.

   - Candidate should refrain from wearing caps, mufflers or any other type head or face coverings at the time of Biometric.

(Candidates who fail to comply with these points will not be allowed to sit for the examination.)

4. You are required to bring this Hall Ticket with currently valid photo identity proof in original. Please note that your name as appearing on the Hall Ticket (provided by you during the process of registration) should reasonably match with the name as appearing on the photo identity proof. Female candidates who have changed first/last/middle name post marriage must take special note of this. If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the Hall Ticket and Photo Identity Proof, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam. In case of candidates who have changed their name will be allowed only if they produce Gazette notification/their marriage certificate/affidavit.
