The MAH MBA CET 2027 syllabus is expected to follow the 2026 official exam brochure, which lists three areas: Logical/Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. In the marking scheme, reasoning is split into two sections, giving four scored sections worth 200 marks in all.

The MAH MBA CET syllabus for Logical Reasoning carries 75 questions, the most of any section. The brochure says it measures how quickly and accurately you can think, and its sample questions cover coded blood relations, statements and conclusions, a code language and the scheduling of six plays across six days.

MAH MBA CET 2026 Trend: the section moved from long puzzle sets to standalone questions. In Slot 1, all 75 were standalone, and 28 of them were number- or maths-based (see H2 6). Critical reasoning appeared in some slots (about 10 questions on April 7 morning and 5–6 on April 8) but not in Slot 1.

The MAH MBA CET syllabus for Abstract Reasoning has 25 figure-based questions. The brochure says this part may have questions based on figures and diagrams, and all five of its sample questions are problem-figure series, in which you choose the figure that continues the pattern.
MAH MBA CET 2026 Trend: rated easy in every slot, with three or four questions similar to previous years. In Slot 1, 8 of the 25 questions were figure counting, 6 were series and 6 odd one out, while Slot 5 had about 13 analogy questions.
The MAH MBA CET syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude has 50 questions. The brochure lists numerical calculation, arithmetic problems on ratio, proportion and percentage, quantitative reasoning, and interpretation of tables, graphs and charts; its sample questions add algebra, mensuration and geometry.

MAH MBA CET 2026 Trend: arithmetic-heavy one-liners. In Slot 1, 24 of the 50 questions were arithmetic and 10 were DI (a caselet and a pie chart), and 5 were on clocks and calendars. Calculations involved decimals, and one other slot had 6–8 data sufficiency questions.

The MAH MBA CET syllabus for Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension has 50 questions. The brochure says it tests your understanding of passages and your English through grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms and antonyms; its samples include a reading passage, error spotting and sentence improvement.
MAH MBA CET 2026 Trend: most slots had four passages of five questions each. In Slot 1, the four passages ran 353–382 words each, on women empowerment, cyber crime, US tariffs and electric vehicles; other slots carried passages on online banking and higher education.

Maths and figures inside Logical Reasoning
About 28 of the 75 LR questions (37%) were number or maths-based series and number puzzles, maths-based reasoning such as a train crossing a tunnel or a remainder problem, digit arrangement, mathematical operations and a number odd-one-out. Six more used figures or diagrams. Quant practice therefore earns marks in Logical Reasoning too, which the official MAH MBA CET Syllabus does not make obvious.
