Aspirants preparing for NMAT by GMAC, the entrance exam leading to admission in MBA programmes in more than 20 B-schools including NMIMS Mumbai and XIM Bhubaneswar have been offered the official online preparation tool by GMAC in the form of Practice tests.
Graduate Management Admission Council, governing body of the GMAT and NMAT by GMAC test announced the launch of 3rd edition of NMATPrep by GMAC on April 18. This specially designed tool will assist aspirants to prepare better for the NMAT by GMAC test.
The online practice tests are created with the same look & feel as the main NMAT by GMAC test with past NMAT by GMAC retired questions to ensure that the candidates understand the format of the test, length of the test, structure of the test, areas which are being tested across the 3 sections of the test.
NMATPrep by GMAC practice test offers the test taker the following advantages:
- Each test has 120 questions in the same structure as the actual NMAT by GMAC test.
- Get one practice test of 120 questions free to familiarize yourself with test structure.
- Get simulative experience through online practice tests using past NMAT questions.
- Buy the Exam Pack and get two more practice tests of 240 questions with 120 official never-before-seen questions from past NMAT tests for Rs. 499 plus taxes.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Vikram Shah, Director, Product Management, Graduate Management Admission Council said, “GMAC has introduced the third edition of Online Official Test Prep tool for NMAT by GMAC 2017 with the intent to provide official content to test takers for practice. The scores of NMAT by GMAC exam will be accepted by more than 20 B-schools namely SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Xavier School of Human Resource Management, Bhubaneswar, Xavier School of Rural Management – Bhubaneswar, Xavier School of Sustainability – Bhubaneswar, Xavier Faculty of management (Urban Management & Governance) – Bhubaneswar, MISB Bocconi, ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad and other locations, Shiv Nadar University, Alliance University, VIT University, Amity University, Thapar School of Management, Woxsen School of Business Management, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), GITAM School of International Business, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University, SRM University, BML Munjal University, Mody University.
Registration for the NMAT by GMAC exam would begin in the month of July 2017 and the exam will be held in 75 days testing window starting from October 2017 to 3rd week of December.
The NMAT by GMAC exam is computer-delivered and gives each candidate a randomly generated test from a pool of questions, provided one-at-a-time. The exam has 3 sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. All 3 sections of the NMAT by GMAC are individually timed and test takers must answer questions and review answers to each section within the allotted time of 120 minutes.
