IIFT Result 2018 for MBA (IB) 2018-20 batch is ready to be declared on January 5, 2018 or even before this result date. With more number of sections in the IIFT entrance exam and higher difficulty level as compared to last year, IIFT score cut offs for admission to its three campuses Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada are expected to be reduced.
The IIFT Result 2018 is ready and is going through final checks and verifications and can be announced on any date on or before January 5. There were 62000 candidates who had registered to appear in IIFT 2017 entrance exam and out of them 55000 candidates appeared in the IIFT entrance exam for admission to 420 seats in MBA (IB) 2018-20 batch at the three campuses of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade on December 3, 2017.

IIFT entrance exam result, over the last many years is published in the 3rd week of December. The main reason for the delay in IIFT result 2018 declaration is the late conduct of IIFT entrance exam. Earlier IIFT 2017 entrance exam was scheduled to be held on November 26, but due to the clash of date with CAT 2017, the exam date of IIFT 2017 was shifted by one week to December 3, 2017. IIFT entrance exam over the years is held on the last Sunday of November.
3 Step process to download IIFT Result 2018
IIFT Score Card will be released alongwith the IIFT result 2018. Candidates will be able to view and download their score card from IIFT website by adhering to following process:
Open IIFT website and Click on New Admissions to get access to admission result
At the score card window that opens, Login with your Roll number and Date of Birth in the format as mentioned below:
Please note that you are required to login with your IIFT roll number. The password is your date of birth as registered with IIFT in DD/MM/YYYY format.
It will display your IIFT Result and score card 2018. You can download the result now.
4 Types of Scores in IIFT Result 2018
IIFT exam score card in IIFT Result 2018 will contain four types of scores:
Maximum marks
Sectional cut offs
Marks obtained
Total percentile score
IIFT Score cut offs: IIFT Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada
With a twist in change of sectional weightage to the components in IIFT exam it is expected that an overall score of 57 in IIFT Result 2018 will be awarded 95 percentile while sectional cut offs will also remain low.
This year IIFT entrance exam was found more difficult than last year. Therefore, the cut offs at different campuses may also go down.
Overall IIFT score cut offs for General category candidates is expected to remain between 37 to 41 marks out of 100 as against 47-48 last year.

IIFT MBA 2018-20 Fee
The 2 years IIFT MBA (IB) 2018-20 course fee structure is Rs. 15.70 lakhs. The fee is under revision and may be revised upwards a little, although no major changes are proposed.
IIFT Placements: 100% Placement with rising Average salary
With a jump of 33% in international placement offers, 3 of the IIFT students have grabbed above Rs.1 crore package and 6 above Rs.75 lakh per annum salary in the international placements in Placement 2017 at IIFT campus. The average compensation for the batch of 2015-17 grew to INR 18.41 LPA as compared to INR 18.01 LPA
International placements have always been IIFTs strength and there has been a remarkable increase in the same over the years. Organizations such as Avantor, Dabur, DSPL, GCPL, Mount Meru, TGI, Trafigura have offered International placement in different locales across the globe.

GD-PI-WAT round for MBA 2018-20 at IIFT
The shortlisted candidates have to go through the rigorous process of IIFT final admission round which consists of Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The GD-PI-WAT round for MBA(IB) programme at IIFT will take place from January 2018 onwards and final admission offers will be sent by IIFT by the end of March.
IIFT entrance test for its most sought after MBA(IB) 2018-20 programme was held at 20 test centres across India in paper pen mode. The total number of questions that appeared in IIFT this year was 114 as compared to 123 last year. The reduced number of questions, however, was offset by the increase in the number of sections, from 4 to 6. IIFT doesnt accept any other score than the score of its own entrance test for domestic candidates.
With an increased intake of 60 students for MBA (IB 2018-20 at its Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh) campus, it is expected that more than 2100 candidates will be shortlisted for final admission round in IIFT Result 2018.
