IIFT Result 2018: Declared on January 5 with shortlist of 1976 candidates; download to check cut off

IIFT 2018 MBA (IB) entrance exam result has been declared by IIFT on January 5, 2018 at 5.45 PM along with the list 1976 candidates shortlisted for GD-PI-WAT round. The list of candidates published by IIFT on its website is roll number wise and contains Roll number, Application number and name of the shortlisted candidates.

Score card to be released a little later
IIFT will make available the score card for download a little later and the candidates will need to go to IIFT website to download their IIFT result 2018 score card from there.
How to download IIFT Result 2018
IIFT Score Card, when released can be viewed and downloaded from IIFT website with undernoted process:

Open IIFT website and Click on New Admissions to get access to admission result
At the score card window that opens, Login with your Roll number and Date of Birth in the format as mentioned below:

Please note that you are required to login with your IIFT roll number. The password is your date of birth as registered with IIFT in DD/MM/YYYY format.

It will display your IIFT Result and score card 2018. You can download the result now.

4 Types of Scores in IIFT Result 2018
IIFT exam score card in IIFT Result 2018 will contain four types of scores:

Maximum marks
Sectional cut offs
Marks obtained
Total percentile score

IIFT Score cut offs: IIFT Delhi, Kolkata, Kakinada
With a twist in change of sectional weightage to the components in IIFT exam it is expected that an overall score of 57 in IIFT Result 2018 will be awarded 95 percentile while sectional cut offs will also remain low.
This year IIFT entrance exam was found more difficult than last year. Therefore, the cut offs at different campuses have also gone down.
Overall IIFT score cut offs for General category candidates is expected to remain between 37 to 41 marks out of 100 as against 47-48 last year.

Campus-wise cut offs & intake for MBA(IB) 2018-20
IIFT Result 2018 will consist of candidates shotlisted more than 5 times of the intake for admission to its different campuses. Accordingly, the cut offs with intake and number of candidates to be shortlisted are shared as under:

IIFT MBA 2018-20 Fee
The 2 years IIFT MBA (IB) 2018-20 course fee structure is Rs. 15.70 lakhs. The fee is under revision and may be revised upwards a little, although no major changes are proposed.
IIFT Placements: 100% Placement with rising Average salary

With a jump of 33% in international placement offers, 3 of the IIFT students have grabbed above Rs.1 crore package and 6 above Rs.75 lakh per annum salary in the international placements in Placement 2017 at IIFT campus. The average compensation for the batch of 2015-17 grew to INR 18.41 LPA as compared to INR 18.01 LPA
IIFT Result 2018 for MBA (IB) 2018-20 batch was ready to be declared on January 5, 2018 three days earlier but was going through the final checks and verification process. With more number of sections in the IIFT entrance exam and higher difficulty level as compared to last year, IIFT score cut offs for admission to its three campuses Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada are expected to be reduced.

There were 62000 candidates who had registered to appear in IIFT 2017 entrance exam and out of them 55000 candidates appeared in the IIFT entrance exam for admission to 420 seats in MBA (IB) 2018-20 batch at the three campuses of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade on December 3, 2017.
