XLRI Jamshedpur has released its Admission 2014 cut-off for BM and HRM Courses today. XAT 2014 result was announced on January 20, 2014.

Minimum overall cut-off for Business Management (BM) course is 94 and for Human Resources Management course is 88.

XLRI sectional Cut-off for BM Courses is as follows:

Overall: 94

Quantitative: 90

Verbal/LR: 80

Decision Making: 80

XLRI sectional Cut-off for HRM Courses is as follows:

Overall: 88

Quantitative: 70

Verbal/LR:  85

XLRI has also released PGDM (General Management), previously known as GMP course Shortlist for interview through XAT/GMAT.

XAT 2014 result was announced on January 20, 2014, just 15 days after XAT 2014 exam. Explaining the reasons for quick evaluation, Dr. Ballabh said, “This year we were more cautious with our processes and did an elaborate planning. We checked and re-checked each and everything. Credit must go to our dedicated workforce behind this success.” He also added that XAT 2014 was moderately difficult with discriminative questions in comparison to last year paper.

Successful candidates will be informed via mail while the next round of evaluation i.e. personal Interview is expected to start from February 17, 2014.

XAT 2014 scores are accepted by most of the top 100 B schools of India. A total of 116 institutes are accepting XAT 2014 result score.
Last year, the XLRI cut-off for BM Courses was 91.25 while for HRM course it was 88.

Apart from, XLRI Jamshedpur there are other leading B schools like XIMB, LIBA, SP JAIN, TAPMI, XIMR, GIM, XIME, BIMTECH, IMT-Ghaziabad and many others which accept XAT 2014 score.

The flagship programmes of XLRI are its two year PGDM (BM) and PGD (HRM) courses having 180 and 120 seats respectively. The total fees of XLRI is Rs 15,99,000 which includes Rs 8,10,000 tuition fees, Rs 46,000 caution money, Rs 30,000 admission fees, Rs 83,000 hostel fees and Rs, 6,30,000 as other fees.

XLRI Jamshedpur Placements 2013

In the placement session 2013, 77 companies visited XLRI for recruiting management graduates and offered 77 jobs. Among the total number of 234 students in the 2011-13 batch, 233 got final placements. The average annual salary offered to the students was Rs 15.53 lakhs and the highest domestic salary was Rs 28 lakhs while the international recruiters offered an annual package of Rs 16 lakhs.

A number of 120 students were placed under the function of HR, 41 were placed in marketing and sales, 34 under finance, 19 under consultancy, 13 under general management 5 under operations/supply chain while 2 students were placed under the function of systems/IT.

Registration process for XAT 2014 closed on Monday, December 2 midnight A total of 89328 students registered for XAT 2014 which was just 3000 less than the XAT 2013 final registration of 92, 000.
