SNAP Result 2014 declared: Download score card; GE-PI-WAT to be the components in final admission round

Result of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2014, gateway to MBA programmes 2015-17 in 13 Symbiosis B schools across the country have been declared on January 10, 2015 the pre declared SNAP result announcement date.

How to get the Score card

Candidates can check if they are shortlisted for the final admission round by login to snaptest.org.The score card can be downloaded and printed from the website of Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune at the following link https://oamssnap.blueshiftindia.com/SNAPResult/ . Following screen will appear asking the candidate to enter the SNAP ID and Password. After login the candidate can get the score card. SNAP 2014 result will remain available on the site till February 11, 2015.

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the MBA entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International University for the MBA programs in 13 B-schools under the university. SNAP 2014 was conducted on December 21, 2014 across the country. The final merit list for all the programmes of the University affiliated institutes is proposed to be declared by the first week of March 2015.

To explore admission opportunity in the B schools affiliated to Symbiosis international University candidates have to register and apply to the respective B school apart from registering for SNAP. There is no limit to the number of institute (s) that a candidate may apply to. If shortlisted, the candidate would then attend the GE-PIWAT process conducted by each of these institutes.

Shortlisting Criteria & merit List

Candidates will be shortlisted for GE-PIWAT based on their overall SNAP Percentile. Category-wise cut off will be published on the website of the respective institute. Merit list will be based on the following Parameters

Salient Features of Admission Process

- Single Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) process for all MBA programs, at multiple locations (Pune, NOIDA and Bengaluru campuses of SIU)

- SNAP Test Score + Academic Profile Score will form the basis for short listing candidates for Group Exercise+Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT).

- Academic Profile Score will be computed on the basis of weights assigned to academic performance in 10th Std., 12th Std. and Graduation.

-Every institute has the separate cut off for short listing the students.

Group Exercise-Personal Interaction-Writing Ability Test (GE-PI-WAT)

Performance in Group Exercise will be awarded with 10 points. A candidate showing innovative and creative thought process will be preferred and would be awarded higher score in this round.

Writing Ability Test (WAT) is another component of the final admission round at Symbiosis International University (SIU) for getting admission to the MBA program. Total 10 marks have been allotted for WAT.

Due credit will be given to the quality of content while evaluating candidates submissions.

Every candidate will also go through the process of Personal Interaction conducted by a panel of experts as finalized by the Admission Committee and this will carry 30 marks Candidates will be able to see his/her short listing status in each of the program that he/she has applied for.

SNAP 2014: Affiliated B schools

Shortlisted candidates on the basis of SNAP 2014 exam will have the opportunity to get admission to one of the 13 Symbiosis B-schools affiliated to Symbiosis International University (SIU) who will accept SNAP 2014 scores for their respective 2 years full time flagship MBA batch 2015-17.
