A few dummy candidates with no credentials and posing as MAH CET 2015 test takers have been trying to defame genuine candidates while applauding the equi percentile calculation process of DTE Maharashtra
All of them have written similar mails copying each other to MBAUniverse.com; Times group; Hindustan Times and ABP News as well as to Dr S K Mahajan, Director DTE Maharashtra

With no solace from any quarter in the offing, has DTE Maharashtra started using dummy candidates to point guns on the genuine candidates. It appears so, as a few dummy candidates with no credentials and posing as MAH CET 2015 test takers have been trying to defame genuine candidates while applauding the equi percentile calculation process of DTE Maharashtra. A move that can make many react aggressively but has kept Directorate of Technical Education away from any reaction although MBAUniverse.com asked the Director DTE to confirm the truth, aims to avoid the demanded retest of MAH CET 2015.

MBAUniverse.com has received a mail with similar content from candidates purportedly claiming to be the MAH CET 2015 test takers fully satisfied with the DTE equi percentile process. The interesting part is that the names of these candidates are not found in the list of 57224 MAH CET 2015 test takers. They have taken the liberty to defame one of the genuine test takers Mr Bhagat stating that he has insulted judiciary. Apart from this all of them have written similar mails copying each other to MBAUniverse.com; Times group; Hindustan Times and ABP News as well as to Dr S K Mahajan, Director DTE Maharashtra applauding his action.

Message to top Media Houses

In the uniform messages from the trio namely Spruha Khandekar ([email protected] );  Vinayak Yadav ([email protected]); Vinay soni ([email protected]) the dummy ones have condemned the action of Mr Bhagat Makhijani who is one of the aggrieved candidates appeared in MAH CET 2015 in slot-1 on March 14, 2015 and has scored lesser percentile. Mr Bhagat is one of the candidates who has also filed Writ in the court against DTE Maharashtra. Surprisingly these dummy candidates are neither the test takers nor the signatories to PIL filed in the court, yet they have applauded the action of DTE Maharashtra in the process of equi-percentile calculation. It appears they are the unwarranted people working at the instance of some vested interests. Since the message has been sent to Director, DTE Maharashtra also, the Directorate should look into the matter, identify them and should bring the truth in public domain.

However known to be going by its slow pace, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has not even cared to respond to the query raised by MBAUniverse.com

No bonafides

The unedited message shared below has been sent by the trio to the top media houses like Times, HT, MBAUniverse.com, ABP News. There is no authenticity either of the message or of the candidature of the persons who sent them.

"Respected Sirs,

I would like to bring to your notice that Mr Bhagat Makhijani one of the aspirants who has filed a petition in the court regarding MBA cet retest does not represent the 57k students(mba aspirants). Mr Bhagat has defamed dte and the indian Judicial system, Please check the screenshot in the attachments. We majority of MBA aspirants respect The DTEs decision of the equipercentile system as they have come up with the best solution keeping in mind the students best interest and also have explained to us as to how the percentiles were calculated. I would like to request you SIRS TO KINDLY LOOK INTO THIS ATTACHMENT WHERE MR BHAGAT HAS OPENLY INSULTED THE INDIAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM. ITS A SHAME THAT MR BHAGAT CLAIMS TO REPRESENT THE MBA ASPIRANTS AS WE THE MAJORITY OF THE STUDENTS DONT SUPPORT OR GIVE HIM THE RIGHTS TO BE OUR SPOKEPERSON. I WOULD REQUEST YOU TO PLZ POST THIS MATTER IN YOUR NEWSPAPERS AT THE EARLIEST.
THANKING YOU, MBA ASPIRANTS"

We are not even sure whether the mail IDs shared by these people are genuine or unscrupulous. The source of attachment is also not known as it does not contain the name of any news paper or portal. These message writers also do not have courage enough to write their full name and address and MAH CET 2015 ID as they do not appear to have one.

Move to influence court decision

Probably presuming that writing against some genuine cause could impact and turn the Court’s decision in favour of their vested interest, these 3 message writers who do not belong to 57000 odd MAH CET 2015 test takers think that the facts could be carried away by their unwarranted uncalled for mails. These people whomever they belong to wherever they come from are not the stake holders to MAH CET 2015 exam. How does the result affect them, favourably or adversely, is anybody’s guess.

Maharashtra High Court to hear PIL on April 15

Mumbai High Court, after clubbing the petitions filed in regard to faulty exercise in equi percentile process and candidates asking for re-exam will hold the hearing on April 15, 2015. Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) is required to present its view point on the issue before Hon’ble High Court of Maharashtra. The decision to decide the fate of 57224 candidates is expected to be delivered soon to avoid any delay in session.  Even if the prayer for retest is granted and DTE is directed by Hon’ble High Court to conduct it immediately or some satisfactory other solution is arrived at, it will be completed as soon as possible.

DTE should learn more from the criticism it is facing due to the casual approach in conducting MAH CET 2015 exam for admission to MBA-MMS 2015-17 across Maharashtra B schools.
