The 3 day annual fest Kritva’15, at International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi, organized with the theme International Swadeshi  and a vision to represent India globally, concluded on Oct 18, 2015.

Kritva ’15 got off to a great start, with management event Fin-charades delivering what it promised- Finance with Fun. The active audience encouraged the teams whenever they tried innovative ways to communicate.

Kritva’15 had a great start of its fun filled events with IPL Bidding. It is a real time simulation game for all the cricket lovers wherein the teams witness and experience the brains behind the rich IPL budding process in order to outbid each other for the best players and franchises. S.P. Jain, Mumbai the team took away with the best players and won the first prize, the team from IIT Delhi were the runner up team.

The events in line were Battle of bands, witnessed seven talented bands from various colleges performing in different genres like sufi, rock, heavy metal, classic rock. The event saw the presence of eminent judges that included Mr. Vinod Kumar and Mrs. Neetu Chopra. After the battle of bands competition, a mesmerizing Friday evening was concluded by DJ Night as IMI Delhi hosted VIBE at the campus with DJ Kunal.

On day 2, the beginning was with Mahindra AQ, a destination for anyone who loves automobiles, organized every year by Mahindra and Mahindra AFS, the flagship automotive company of the Mahindra Group. With more than 230 team registrations from across the country, Mahindra AQ received phenomenal participation this year. The event was hosted by Shiva guru –quizmaster and Navneet Kaur his co-host. The event comprised 5 teams from top-B schools Like IIFT, IMI Delhi, Delhi School of Economics and Great Lakes. The teams that bagged the coveted prizes were teams from IMI Delhi (first prize) and IIFT Delhi (first runner up) in their respective order. Delhi School of economics secured the position of second runner-up.

There was Rangmanch, the inter college street play competition on the 2nd day of the event. It saw participation from various colleges in Delhi The esteemed panel of judges included Ms. Neelam Gupta, the Director of National School of Drama, Delhi and Prof. Dr. Supriya M. Kalla, Assistant Professor, IMI. With various burning issues, flawless direction and scripts and actions full of expressions and energy, it was difficult for the judges to decide the winners. The team Ibtida from Hindu College and team Navrang from Institute of Home Economics won the first and second prizes, respectively.

Dance Ovation at Kritva’15 was judged by Mr. Arish Paul and Mr. Raman Pratap Singh as the esteemed judges for the event. Footloose from Shivaji college won the 1st prize for their awesome performance and team Mridaksh from Manav Rachna won the runners up prize. The welcome performance by IMI dancers was at par with others.

Various colleges participated in Aalap-the inter college singing competition. The judged for the event were Guru Vinod Kumar, Director and Principal of Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyalaya and Ms. Rubina Dutta, a teacher and coordinator at Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyalaya. Prizes for Solo went to Dhyey from LBSIM at 1st position; 2ND position: Shivam from Jagran College of Arts, Science and Commerce,  DUET: 1ST position: Sopranos from LBSIM 2nd position: Fans of Ajoy Chakraborty from IMI, Delhi

The day ended with Flamboyance- the fashion show competition at IMI, Delhi.  With 7 teams walking the ramp of fashion, the show was a big success not just in terms of clothes but also in terms of the participation. The Judges, Ankita Negi and Oshima Jain ,the founders of 3madchicks,  graced the show with their presence .

The last day of IMI's Cultural Festival had Sangam Runathon - The Mini Marathon. It saw a large number of enthusiastic participants participating for a good cause. The event was aimed at raising funds for Umeed, an NGO founded in 1997. The event had a footfall of 120 participants on a chilly Sunday morning that also included eager children from the NGO. Covering a roundtrip of 9 km distance from IMI campus to Fortis Hospital, the marathon was an encouragement to lead a healthy life. The title sponsor for the event was Hero along with the Platinum sponsor Panasonic.

During the day IMI conducted Quiz Inc which is the flagship event of Kritva. Mr.Gautam Bose was invited as the quiz master. The quiz had an online preliminary round on 10th Oct 2015 which attracted participation of about 520 participants from various B-schools and Corporates. After the online quiz, 6 top teams were shortlisted for the final round on 18th Oct 2015 on campus. In the evening the fest reached a crescendo with the star night performer Nikhil D’ Souza.

IMI Delhi is one of the top rated B-Schools in India. The institute is accredited by Association of MBAs (AMBA). IMI has academic collaborations with many top rated foreign B-Schools like McGill University, Montreal, Canada; and Manchester Business School, U.K.  IMI Delhi records excellent placement year after year.
