JBIMS back to CAP 2016
JBIMS Mumbai which got the autonomous status in 2014 and therefore conducted its own admission process including conducting the GD-PI round last year has come back to CAP 2016 round. JBIMS will not be conducting any GD-PI for admission to MMS 2016-18 batch and the entire admission process at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai will be through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra.

Confirming the admission process through CAP 2016, JBIMS has announced ‘Admission for Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai for two years Masters in Management Studies (MMS) programme will be done through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra.’

Now the high percentilers in MAHCET 2016  instead of appearing in separate GD-PI of JBIMS for admission, the candidates will have to participate in CAP 2016 to be conducted by DTE Maharashtra sometime in May-June 2016 for admission to flagship MMS 2016-18 batch at JBIMS. Besides no separate application is proposed to be submitted to JBIMS, Mumbai as the allotment of the B-school will be decided in CAP round.
