NMAT by GMAC Registration without late fee will close today and the 75 days testing window will begin on October 7
Registration process for NMAT by GMAC is closing today on October 3, 2016 for the candidates who wish to apply and appear in the exam without payment of late fee. The facility to register and apply for NMAT by GMAC with additional late fee of Rs.300/- will be available till October 12, 2016. NMAT by GMAC will be conducted in a 75 days test window from October 7 to December 20, 2016 as a computer based on line test with the facility of re-scheduling and 3 retakes.
 Online registration process for NMAT by GMAC 2016 exam was opened on July 4. After XIMB joined NMAT by GMAC, it has become one of the mandatory exams for admission to MBA at NMIMS and 19 other management institutes in India. This will be the second NMAT by GMAC exam after acquisition of NMAT in March 2015 by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).
 
 NMAT by GMAC 2016 allows 3 retakes after a gap of 15 days, candidates registering and applying for the exam should plan their exam dates accordingly.
 
 Registration Process: Key steps
 You must register and pay for the NMAT by GMAC exam before scheduling a test date and location. Candidates are required to visit respective university/college/school website for details of their admission procedure. You have to submit their respective form separately.
Test takers applying for NMAT by GMAC can register for one of the programs individually or for both the programs. Applicable fees for different registration activities is give below-

 How to pay
 More payment options have been added to pay the NMAT by GMAC exam fee. Candidates can pay the NMAT by GMAC exam fees through net banking option. Payment forms accepted by NMAT by GMAC include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debot Card, Net Banking, Diners Club, Mobile Wallets.
 
 3 Retakes allowed with a gap of 15 days
 You will be allowed to take the NMAT by GMAC exam a maximum of 3 times during the years testing period. This includes the first attempt plus a maximum of two retake attempts. No shows meaning if you do not present yourself at the test venue at the designated time and date are considered attempts.
 
 You will need to register for a retake exam using the same process as the initial test registration. Once your registration for the retake is complete you will receive an email with authorization to schedule.
 You can schedule the retake test 15 or more days after your most recent date of attempt. This means you will have to wait at least 15 calendar days before you can appear for a retake. You can schedule your test any time during the retake scheduling window (subject to real time availability). You will be able to select any slot that is a minimum of 24 hours later than the time you schedule your appointment.
 
 Rescheduling the exam date
 You may reschedule your appointment if you cant appear for the original test appointment. You may reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours prior to your original appointment. You may pay for your reschedule using credit card only.
 
 NMAT by GMAC: Test components
 NMAT by GMAC shall have same test components as earlier NMAT used to contain. The time allocation and number of questions will also not change and the entire exam will follow the earlier NMAT pattern

 Test sections are Individually timed
 Each of the three sections is individually timed. Test takers need to answer and review the questions of a particular section within the allotted section time. The NMAT by GMAC test takers would therefore need to solve each section within the prescribed time limit to get the best out of the exam.
