Result for the candidates who appeared in NMAT by GMAC exam from October 7 to 21 has been declared. To view their score they need to login with their NMAT by GMAC ID & password to access their result. The candidates who have scored low in the exam need not worry as they still have 2 more retake-chances to utilize in improving their scores.

Candidates who appeared in NMAT by GMAC during the period for which result is declared, have been making repeated attempts to login to the website. While some of them have been successful many others find it difficult for the website to open as thousands are thronging to view their result simultaneously.

NMAT by GMAC, a computer based objective type multiple-choice test is being held in 75 days test window from October 7 to December 20, 2016 in 24 test cities at 32 test centres across the country.

3 Attempt exam
NMAT by GMAC gateway to NMIMS and other 17 B-schools in India offers unique opportunity to re-take the exam thrice and maximise your score to enable you to get shortlisted by the top B-school and universities for admission to MBA 2017-19 batch.

Earlier known as NMAT, the title of the test stands changed to NMAT by GMAC post acquisition of the exam by GMAC. NMAT by GMAC is going to offer 3 attempts to the candidates to maximise their scores in the prestigious entrance test.
If an NMAT by GMAC test taker is not satisfied with his performance and thinks that he/she can improve the scores by taking the exam again, the test can be rescheduled for Retake but with a minimum gap of 15 days. This includes the first attempt plus a maximum of two retake attempts. However, if you do not present yourself at the test venue at the designated time and date they will be considered as attempts.

You will need to register for a retake exam using the same process as the initial test registration. Once your registration for the retake is complete you will receive an email with authorization to schedule.

You can schedule the retake test 3 times while the registration window for NMAT by GMAC is open with a gap of 15 or more days after your most recent date of attempt. This means you will have to wait at least 15 calendar days before you can appear for a retake. You can schedule your test any time during the retake scheduling window (subject to real time availability). You will be able to select any slot that is a minimum of 24 hours later than the time you schedule your appointment.

7 Programmes included in Registration fee
Candidates appearing in NMAT by GMAC can choose to select the list of programmes they want to send their scores to before or after taking the exam. Upto 7 programmes are included in the registration fee.

Review the result and decide
The test taker scores will be declared in a span of 4-5 weeks from the NMAT by GMAC test delivery. Whether you should apply to a B-school or retake the test, this can be decided after reviewing results. Candidates can view the results and then decide to apply to business school or retake the test depending on their comfort with the results they have obtained.

If you are NMAT by GMAC aspirant, you must register and pay the registration fee of Rs. 1700/- online for the exam before scheduling a test date and location. Candidates are required to visit respective university/college/school website for details of their admission procedure. You have to submit their respective form separately.
