CAT 2021 Dress Code: Guidelines for Boys & Girls Issued by IIM Ahmedabad; Candidates to Meticulously Follow on Nov 28 across the 3 Slots

In its CAT 2021 guidelines, released on November 18, IIM Ahmedabad has asked the candidates to follow the CAT 2021 exam day dress code for boys and girls meticulously. Any breach in following the CAT day dress code may cost the candidates denial of entry to the test centre. Following the CAT day dress code will make sure that you appear in the exam without getting subjected to different type of problems before or during the CAT exam.

CAT 2021 Dress Code for Male & Female: Guidelines from IIMA

1. Girls not to wear any Jewellery or Metal Accessories Allowed
2. Girls should not apply Hena (Mehndi) on Palm side
3. No Shoes allowed with thick soles
4. Only Socks, plain pullovers, sweaters, cardigans that do not have any pockets are allowed in the testing lab
5. No Jackets, Coats with pockets are allowed
6. Candidates will not be allowed to wear garments with large buttons inside the CAT exam centre.
7. No electronic gadgets like mobile phones, watches, calculators are allowed.
8. No wallet, goggles should be carried to the CAT test centre
9. Candidates will undergo a frisking process and only CAT admit card, photo identity card, mask, sanitizer, required medical certificate(s) and scribe affidavit (if any) would be permitted beyond the frisking point.
10. If any candidate is using metal implant, pacemaker, will have to bring a supporting medical certificate of the same to the test centre.

Only a day remains for the CAT 2021 exam day which is on Sunday November 28. IIMs have issued specific dress code guide for the 2.31 lakh CAT aspirants who have registered to appear in CAT 2021 in a single day.
