NTA CMAT 2019 Answer Keys Out: Check Your CMAT Response Sheet Before Filing Challenge Form

The much awaited NTA-CMAT 2019 answer keys with response sheet and complete CMAT 2019 question paper have been released on February 1, 2019. The candidates who appeared in NTA CMAT 2019 exam on January 28, 2019 in Shift-1 or Shift-2 can check the Answer keys now.  The CMAT answer keys and CMAT response sheet with CMAT objection form to challenge the CMAT 2019 answer key is displayed on the CMAT official website.

NTA CMAT Answer Keys: Released for Slot-1 & Slot-2
The NTA CMAT 2019 answer keys with objection form to challenge the responses in the answer options have been released separately for morning and afternoon slot by National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducted CMAT 2019 exam in two slots on January 28, 2019.

Earlier NTA had announced “After the CMAT - 2019 examination, the NTA will display answer keys & recorded responses of multiple choice questions on the NTA’s website”

How to Check NTA CMAT Question Paper, Answer Keys and Response Sheet
Checking, verifying and submitting the objections after checking the NTA CMAT 2019 question paper, answer keys and your response sheet is a two step process:

Step-1: Check NTA CMAT 2019 Question Paper & Answer Keys

• Go to NTA CMAT 2019 official website
• Click on Display Question paper and Responses
• Login either with your CMAT application number and password Or with application number and date of birth
• Complete CMAT question paper with question ID and answer options will open  
• Now you can view the CMAT question paper, question ID and answer option IDs
• To check your CMAT response sheet you have to follow Step-2

Step-2: Check NTA CMAT 2019 Response Sheet

• Go to CMAT 2019 official website
• Click on Challenge Answer Keys
• Login either with your NTA CMAT application number and password Or with application number and date of birth
• Complete CMAT response sheet with the question ID and answer ID that you attempted gets opened
• To check correct answer you have to go with each question one by one and cross check which is the correct answer option ID for the question
• In case you are not satisfied with the correct answer key as given on the CMAT website, you can challenge the answer keys by filing the claim after paying a fee of Rs.1000/- per question 

• CMAT 2019 answer keys are displayed for all the question sets on official NTA CMAT 2019 website on  February 1, 2019
• Only the candidates who appeared in CMAT 2019 slot-1 or slot-2 exam are able to view, print and verify the slot wise CMAT 2019 answer keys on NTA CMAT 2019 official website
• Display of recorded responses and Answer Keys for inviting challenges on NTA’s website are available with an objection form to CMAT 2019 answer keys
• The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer keys and recorded responses, may challenge by filling online application (Objection) form
• A processing charge of Rs.1000/- per question is to be paid online to challenge the answer keys.

Pay Rs.1000/- per question to File Objection

You have to pay Rs.1000/- per question towards processing charges to challenge the NTA CMAT 2019 answer keys.

The processing charge can be paid by credit/debit card/Net banking. Please note that the processing charge once paid is non-refundable.

So, if you are not satisfied with the NTA CMAT answer keys and answer options which are the recorded responses for the particular question, you may challenge the answer keys by filling online application form which is available on official CMAT 2019 website on February 1, 2019.

NTA’s Decision Final on Objections to NTA CMAT Answer Keys
On the issue of examining, entertaining and taking final decision on the challenges submitted by the candidates on the CMAT 2019 Answer Keys, the National Testing Agency has clarified, “The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.”

NTA has further clarified that no grievance with regard to CMAT 2019 answer key(s) after declaration of result of CMAT-2019 will be entertained nor shall there be a provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the CMAT 2019 Score and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained by NTA.

CMAT Score Based on Final CMAT 2019 Answer Keys
NTA has confirmed that the CMAT 2019 result will be released on February 8, 2019 after finalizing the CMAT 2019 answer keys. According to NTA, “The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys.”

Clarifying further NTA has shared, “The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of CMAT-2019. No score card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their score cards from the website”

NTA CMAT 2019 Answer Keys: Know the Scoring Pattern
Each correct answer in CMAT 2019 carries +4 marks and each wrong answer will impose a negative penalty of -1 mark. What you attempted in CMAT 2019 exam on January 28, 2019, if you remember a good part of it, you may arrive at your near CMAT raw scores and on its basis check what percentile you could get with the help of CMAT answer keys. This is the first time that NTA conducted CMAT and has also released the answer keys for the exam. So far, CMAT answer keys were not been published for CMAT exam by AICTE till last year. Besides, CMAT was used to be conducted in a single session, this is the first time that NTA has conducted CMAT 2019 in two slots – Morning and Afternoon.

Please make note that the objection, if any to NTA CMAT answer keys should be filed and submitted alongwith making payment of prescribed CMAT answer key challenge fee in three days so that the same can be entertained by the National Testing Agency. In case you are not able to adhere to the NTA-CMAT answer key objection filing time line neither your objection form will be entertained nor the objection fee that you have paid will be refunded.
