3 Types of Scores in NMAT Score Card

The NMAT exam is scored by obtaining the candidate’s final ability estimate based on the probabilistic model approach of modern test theory. The score is then transformed to a scaled score ranging from 12 to 360. The questions a candidate receives are targeted at his or her ability level; therefore, a high- scoring candidate generally receives a more difficult sample of questions than a low- scoring candidate.

Your NMAT score card will include a scaled score for each section, a total score as well as a percentile ranking when the final result is released. The range of scores possible on the different sections of the NMAT by GMAC exam is given below:

Section
Score Range
Quantitative Skills
12-120
Language Skills

Logical Reasoning skills
