Registration process for TS ICET 2019 counselling for MBA/MCA admission in 345 colleges in Telangana state has started from July 19, 2019. The TS ICET counselling 2019 has been delayed due to General Lok Sabha and State Legislature elections 2019.

For the Convenience of the Candidates, Government has decided to adopt a total web based counseling procedure where a candidate can select a college and course which he/she intends to study, through internet centre or internet facility available at his/her residence and where access to such facility is not available, from any one of the help line centers established by Govt in the districts. Such help line centers are availble in each district.    


6 Steps of TS ICET Web Counselling 2019
TS ICET web counselling registration process has started now. You need to take following 6 steps to participate in TS ICET 2019 Counselling:


Step-1: Pay Processing Fee
You need to pay processing fee of Rs.2/- online before proceeding further to book the TS ICET Counselling Slot.



Step-2: Online Slot Booking
To attend TS ICET web counselling candidates need to book the slot for certificate verification



Step-3: Attend Certification Verification
Once you book the slot, you need to attend the certificate verification process at the designated time, place and date. Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centres after Verification.Following certificates are required to be carried for verification  

  • Hall ticket 
  • Rank Card
  • SSC/ Inter / Degree or Equivalent marks memo
  • Study/Bonafide Certificate from IX to Degree 
  • Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)
  • Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 01.01.2019 should also be submitted (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption)
  • PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate. 

Step-4: Candidate’s TS ICET 2019 Registration Details
You need to enter TS ICET 2019 exam registration details like Registration form number, Hall ticket number, TS ICET 2019 Rank as advised in the rank card after declaration of TS ICET result, date of birth



Step-5: Login For Option Entry
You need to login now with relevant details to proceed further in TS ICET Counselling process. After Certificate Verification, a Blank Option Form (speciman), List of colleges with the courses offered by them and course codes will be given to the Candidates. Based on the Course Codes and college Codes, you may list out college in order of preference, the courses which you intend to give options for. For the reference of the candidates, the last rank up to which candidates were admitted in different colleges /courses in the previous academic year would be made availble to candidates on the web site. The candidate should first prepare a priority number with a list of courses in the blank option form before he/she attempts to enter the options on the web. Candidates can exercise any number of options.


Modification of Options and Freezing:
Candidate can change his/her options any number of times during the allotted time. After allotted time for option entry, If the Candidate is not satisfied with the Options exercised, he/she can modify the options on the dates notified by the authority and this is final opportunity for exercising options.


Step-6: Take Print of Saved Options
After finalising the options, the candidate should take print out of the final option form for his/her record. Help-Line Centres shall demonstrate the detailed procedure of Exercising Options immediately after the certificate verification.


After TS ICET Counselling

Seat Allotment: Based on the options excercised, seat allotment will be made as per merit rank and category (SC/ST/BC/PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and games quota) of the candidate. The final Allotments will be placed on the Web on the scheduled date announced before hand and the Candidates will have to down load the allotment order from the web site.


Fee Payment and Reporting at College: Candidates, with downloaded allotment order, have to remit the fee in one of the designated banks and obtain a receipt. After that candidate with allotment order and Fee receipts have to report at the respective colleges where the Seat is allotted on or before the dates specified in the allotment order. If Candidate fails to report for admission at the allotted college by the dates stipulated, the allotment stands cancelled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.

TS ICET counselling is conducted in two-three phases. After the 1st phase TS ICET provisional allotment of seats, candidates will be asked to report to the allotted colleges by the stipulated date. However, in case the candidates who do not report to the allotted colleges till the last date for reporting, the TS ICET Counselling 2019 Process may cancel their candidature and in their place the wait listed candidates may get admission opportunity in the TS ICET 2nd phase counselling 2019.

TS ICET 2nd Phase counselling 2019
DTE Telangana is yet to announce the TS ICET 2019 second counselling dates and will wait till the candidates finally report to the allotted college. Instead of instantly going for TS ICET 2nd counselling 2019, the DTE Telangana will first use the waiting list prepared in the first phase of TS ICET 2019 counselling. In case there is shortfall in the number of candidates, it is possible that the TS ICET 2nd counselling dates are announced.


Apart from this, DTE Telangana, may allow the colleges to offer admission to the candidates fulfilling eligibility norms for TS ICET 2019 counselling process in case the sufficient number of students do not report to the allotted college after completion of TS ICET counselling 2019.


TS ICET 2nd Phase Counselling 2019: Process for Minority category Candidates
Minority candidates (Muslim / Christian) who have not qualified or not appeared in TSICET -2019 exam and who secured 50% (for OC) and 45% (for others) in aggregate marks Degree or its equivalent Examination will be considered for the leftover seats in respective minority colleges, if any, after exhausting all the qualified Minority candidates of TSICET-2019 in final phase of counselling.


However, these candidates are not eligible for Fee Reimbursement Scheme.


TS ICET 2019 Counselling Eligibility

  • Candidates who had qualified in TSICET-2019 and who have secured 50% (for OC) and 45% (for others) in aggregate marks in their graduation Degree or its equivalent Examination  are eligible to apply and participate in TS ICET 2019 Counselling process.
  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should belong to the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
  • The candidate seeking admission to MBA programme though TS ICET 2019 counselling process should have passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree Examination of minimum three years duration except Oriental Languages


TS ICET 2019 Counselling Documents
DTE Telangana has prescribed following TS ICET 2019 counselling documents required for certificate verification at the time of counselling. All original certificates and 1 set of Xerox copies of the documents are required.

  • TSICET -2019 Rank Card
  • TSICET -2019 Hall Ticket
  • Aadhar Card
  • S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo, Intermediate or its equivalent Memo-Cum-Pass Certificate, Degree Memorandum of marks, Degree Provisional Pass Certificate, Study or Bonafide Certificate from IX class to Degree
  • Transfer Certificate (T.C)
  • Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2019 by competent authority, if applicable
  • Caste Certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable
  • Residence Certificate of candidate for a period of 7 years preceding to qualifying examination in case where the candidate has no institutionalized education
  • In respect of Non-Local candidates in order to consider them for allotment under unreserved seats the certificates needed are ·Residence Certificate; (OR) · Employer Certificate  

Payment of Tuition Fee and Fee Refund Before TS ICET 2nd Phase Counselling 2019   
DTE Telangana has clarified that ‘if the candidate does not pay the prescribed Tuition Fee within the schedule mentioned in TS ICET Counselling 2019, the provisional allotted seat automatically stands cancelled and he / she shall not have any claim on the provisionally allotted seat.’

  • After payment of the Tuition Fee, if the candidate cancels the provisionally allotted seat through online on or before commencement of second phase of counselling full Tuition Fee paid will be refunded.
  • Follow the further instructions printed on the provisional allotment order.
  • If the candidate cancels his / her admission, the Tuition Fee paid will be forfeited up to 50% after second phase of TS ICET 2019 Counselling and 100% after spot admission notification.   

The eligible and qualified candidates of TSICET-2019 desirous of seeking admission into MBA and MCA Courses have to pay the TS ICET 2019 Counselling fee of Rs.1200/- (Rs.600 for SC/ST). After making payment of Processing Fee, Certificate Verification and Option Exercise they are allotted the seat in the college.
