4. FMS Delhi MBA Fees 2024-26: Fee Increased – Check Key Trends
FMS Delhi MBA Fees is marginally increased during last 3 years. The fee was many times increased, if we compare the MBA Fee 2018 or before. Now the FMS Delhi MBA Fees for its 2 years full time course has gone up to Rs.2 lakhs for 2 years from Rs.1.92 lakhs two years before. The fee was only Rs.25,000/- for the MBA Programme earlier. For MBA 2024-26 batch, FMS Fees is likely to be increased further as per the following announcement of FMS Delhi, “The semester fee is currently approximately Rs.50,000 for MBA programme, per each semester. Please note that the fees for the various programmes and reservation categories can be revised at any time before the commencement of or during the duration of the programmes, as per instructions from the University of Delhi.” 

The fee is payable at the beginning of the academic year. Students from PWD category shall be exempted from payment of all fees except Admission fee and Identity Card fee. After many years of keeping its MBA fee at Rs.20,000 to 25,000 for the complete MBA programme, FMS Delhi MBA fees was increased to Rs. 1.92 lakhs and then to Rs.2 lakhs.

Besides this fee, the students have created a registered body, i.e. Management Science Association (MSA), comprising of various societies, which charges membership fee for carrying out student activities. The fee for them is decided by the students from time to time.

Accordingly, the other fee components in FMS Delhi MBA programme are higher than tuition/academic or other fee. The complete fee structure at FMS Delhi is as below:  

 4.1 FMS MBA Fee
FMS Delhi will charge approximately Rs.50,000 per semester. Last year FMS Fees for MBA full time programme was Rs.48,780 per semester. It comes to Rs.195,120 for four semesters. The fees for MBA 2024-26 batch can be further revised at any time before the commencement of or during the duration of the program, as per instructions from the University of Delhi

FMS Delhi final Placement 2023 has concluded with its student getting Rs.1.23 Crore LPA highest domestic salary and average salary shooting up at Rs.34.10 LPA this year from Rs.32.40 LPA last year. Faculty of Management of Delhi University has again achieved 100% placements and has recorded many firsts for the largest MBA 2021-23 batch. 8.1 Online Payment through Internet Payment Gateway

While filling in, your application form, you will be directed to the Internet Payment Gateway of the Bank as mentioned in FMS website. Confirm payment through credit card/ debit card or other payment channels.  After successful online payment, you will be directed back to the FMS Website. A confirmation of registration will follow.

9. FMS Delhi Admission Criteria 2024: Exam Accepted, Final selection Process
FMS Delhi accepts only CAT score. So, what are CAT Scores Weightage for MBA Admission in FMS Delhi? What are the FMS Delhi MBA Weightage for Final Selection? FMS Delhi admission criteria is based on CAT entrance exam score, shortlisting criteria and final selection criteria with many changes have been introduced this year in award of weightages for admission 2024.

9.1 FMS Acceptable Entrance Exam: CAT 2023

• FMS Delhi will consider only CAT 2023 score for shortlisting and awards varying weightage parameters to sectional percentile in CAT 2023 to shortlist the candidates for final selection round
• Applicants who have not taken CAT 2023 will not be considered for admission

9.2 FMS Delhi Shortlisting Criteria
FMS Delhi shortlisting criteria for final selection round aims to encourage diversity of Gender and Academic Disciplines. For the purpose of shortlisting candidates for Interview Process different weightages are assigned to the scores of different sections of the CAT 2023.

FMS Delhi will shortlist the candidates on the basis of sectional and overall CAT 2023 score, gender diversity and other criteria as under:

• The shortlisting for final selection round in FMS Admission Criteria awards 100% weight to CAT 2023 score
• In the shortlisting criteria, the candidate is awarded weightage to sectional percentile scores in CAT 2023.  Score in Quantitative Ability (QA) section is awarded 30% weight; the Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) section also carries a weight of 30% while the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section carries highest weightage of 40%.
• An additional 5 marks are added to the Weighted score in case of women candidates for the purpose of shortlisting.
• This composite score is used only for shortlisting the candidates for Interview Process.
• All the Candidates shortlisted for final selection round have to attend GD-PI & Extempore, failing which they will be not be considered for the final admission

9.3 Final Admission Selection Round Criteria: In April 2024, Second Week

• All the shortlisted candidates must participate in Final selection round for admission to FMS Delhi
• PI Round for FMS admission 2024 may be held in physical or online mode depending upon the pandemic situation
• FMS Delhi selection criteria include Discussion on Statement of Purpose, Personal Interview and Extempore speech.
• The PI-Extempore round is held offline in physical mode
• The Merit list, after final admission round, is based on CAT 2023 score, performance in SoP Discussion/GD, PI, Extempore, Academic profile.

9.4 FMS Delhi Admission 2024: Weightages in Final Selection
FMS Delhi Admission Weightages in Final selection are based on following components in generation of final merit list:

• An additional 5 marks shall be awarded to the women candidates who appear for the interview while drawing the list of selected candidates
• Final Merit List of selected candidates would be released by FMS Delhi immediately after the last day of final selection round is over for all the candidates
• The candidates will be required to produce their original certificates and mark sheets at the time of the interview  
• Applicants who have not taken CAT 2023 will not be considered for admission.

9.5 No Group Discussion in PI Round of FMS Admission 2024
FMS Delhi has replaced GD round by Discussion on Statement of Purpose (SoP). Earlier it used to award a weightage of 10% to performance in Group Discussion (GD). While GD was conducted before PI, the Extempore with a duration of 2-3 minutes is conducted during the Personal Interview. For the MBA admission 2024, weightage to GD is  dropped and PI round consists of SoP and Extempore apart from Personal Interview.

FMS Delhi will consider only CAT 2023 score for shortlisting and will award varying weightage parameters to sectional percentile in CAT 2023 to shortlist the candidates for final selection round. 

10. FMS Delhi Cutoff
FMS Delhi cut off for CAT percentile score is based on various parameters. However, broadly FMS cutoffs for General Category are around CAT 98 %ile. Since it uses varying weightages of 40% for VARC section and 30% weightage for DILR and QA sections each, those who score high overall percentile in CAT but low percentile in VARC section, may not be shortlisted while those score comparatively low overall percentile, but high percentile in VARC section may be preferred in shortlisting. Accordingly, the FMS Cut off 2024 may not be uniform for all the shortlisted candidates. FMS will award following weightage to CAT 2023 scores in shortlisting the candidates for final selection 2024 PI stage on the basis of CAT 2023 scores. The weightage to the scores of three sections in CAT 2023 are as under:

Additional 5 Marks to Women Candidates
For candidates who have applied to FMS, an additional 5 marks are added to the Composite Score so computed in case of women candidates for the purpose of shortlisting.

FMS Delhi shortlists 8 to 10 times of candidates than the approved intake. The shortlist by FMS Delhi for SoP-PI-Extempore will comprise around 2000 candidates in different categories as under.

12. FMS Admission 2024: Step by Step Process
Following 4 steps are included in the FMS Delhi Admission process:

• Step 1: The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required sectional and overall percentile in CAT 2023 to be considered for first stage shortlisting process for admission at FMS Delhi. Candidates are short-listed for PI round from among the candidates who have a valid CAT-2023 score, who have applied to the program and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the program of FMS Delhi.  
• Step 2: Shortlisted Candidates have to attend PI and extempore round in final selection process in April 2024. FMS Delhi also expects a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of PI round.
• Step 3: After the PI round, admission offers are made by FMS Delhi to successful candidates. The final selection is based on performance in CAT, performance in PI round, academics among others. Category wise merit list will be generated based on Final Score
• Step 4: Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in April/May 2024 on the basis of composite Score arrived after awarding the weightage scores on all the components.

13. FMS Delhi Admission: Previous Trends
Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi conducted physical Personal Interview (PI) round with all components of final selection process and awarded varying weightages to different components. The PI round at FMS began on April 17, 2023 and was over on April 21, 2023 for all the 1994 shortlisted candidates for MBA admission 2023. FMS has the reputation to declare final merit list for MBA admission on the last day or next day of PI round. For MBA Admission 2023 too, the final result was released on April 22, 2023 immediately after completion of PI round on April 21. FMS released 4 lists of selected candidates from the waiting list as many students in the first list did not accept the admission offer and did not pay admission fee of Rs.48,000.
