Admission at SIES College of Management Studies, Mumbai is open now for the PGDM 2019-21 batch with an intake of 210 students. SIES offers three full time residential PGDM programmes to provide career opportunities in Management in the fields of PGDM with specialization in Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations and Information Technology; PGDM-Biotechnology; and PGDM Pharmaceutical Management. Last date to apply closes on March 12, 2019.

SIES College of Management Studies, Mumbai PGDM 2019 admission process is open now. Popularly referred to as SIESCOMS, the SIES College of Management Studies offers three 2 years full time PGDM programmes namely PGDM with specialization in Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Information Technology; PGDM Biotechnology and PGDM Pharmaceutical Management. All the PGDM programmes at SOESCOMS are AICTE approved.

Apart from these full time PGDM programmes, SIESCOMS also offers AICTE approved part time two years PGDM-Executive programme. It also offers 2 years full time Master in Management Services (MMS) programme affiliated to University of Mumbai. Last date to apply online for admission to PGDM 2019-21 batch is March 12, 2019. The application fee is Rs.2000/- for each PGDM programme, if applied separately. Concessions in application fee are also given if applying for more than one programme. The admission process for PGDM is conducted by SIESCOMS while the admission for MMS programme is as per the directives of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra.

How to Apply for Admission at SIESCOMS, Mumbai
SIESCOMS has introduced a single common online application form for all the three PGDM programmes.

The application fee can be paid online through NET Banking, NEFT/RTGS, Credit card/Debit card payment. There is no cut-off for applying for PGDM at SIESCOMS, Mumbai. You need to login at SIESCOMS website at home page and click on Online admission form – Academic year 2019-20 in the admissions tab.

Before proceeding to fill up your admission application form for SIESCOMS Mumbai, you need a scanned copy / image (Format :JPG, PNG) of the Mark-sheets of previous academic examinations (10th, 12th and Graduation); Recent passport size photograph (against light background); Signature on white background only.

Please also keep your mobile handy for online application. Only one Mobile Number can be used by a candidate for online registration. Another important point while filling up the application form is – Do Not use the refresh or the back button on the browser (or the associated hot-keys). You can complete and submit the SIESCOMS application form in 5 simple Steps:

  • Step-1: Create an account by clicking on 'New Candidate Registration' and fill-in basic information. You can create a unique Username and Password that you need to remember, every time you Log-in to the admission portal. After creating your Account, you will see a pop-up confirming your registration and will receive Mobile verification code on your registered mobile number and will receive all future communication on this registered mobile number
  • Step-2: You will be redirected to “Candidate Login page”. Now use your username and password to proceed further.
  • Step-3: You should fill/review/edit all information on each page ensuring correctness of furnished data that include your personal details, Options of PGDM courses desired in order of preference
  • Step-4: Upload the scanned copy of all required documents. Only after uploading & verifying all required information & documents, form needs to be printed for submission in the college
  • Step-5: You can opt for online payment using net banking, Credit and Debit card. If you wish to make offline payment (payment at college counter), you can do with DD in the name of “SIES College of Management Studies”. Once Payment is done, you will be allowed to fill the form further

SIESCOMS: Admission Eligibility

  1. SIESCOMS Mumbai eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline
  2. One of the most important points in SIESCOMS Admission Eligibility criteria is that apart from a recognized graduate degree, the candidate should appear in one the six MBA entrance exams namely CAT 2018/XAT 2019/CMAT 2019/MAH CET 2019/MAT 2018-19/ATMA 2018-19 and must score well to become eligible for admission.
  3. If the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence to determine PGDM admission eligibility would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where the bachelor's degree is obtained. In case the institution/university does not have any scheme for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by SIES College of management Studies by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant by 100 to confirm the Admission eligibility of the candidate. 
  4. A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for SIESCOMS Admission 2019.
  5. It is mandatory for a final year student, who is provisionally considered eligible by SIESCOMS, Mumbai and offered admission, to submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor's degree examination latest by the prescribed date.

SIESCOMS Mumbai Admission Criteria
SIESCOMS Admission Criteria 2019 will be different for PGDM programmes and for MMS programme. For the MMS admission 2019, the candidates will be shortlisted for document verification and final selection process by DTE Maharashtra.

For PGDM admission 2019, SIESCOMS will follow two-step process at the institute level. The PGDM admission process involves the Shortlisting criteria based on entrance exam score and the Final admission selection Criteria comprising GD-PI round.

  1. Shortlisting Criteria

The first part of SIESCOMS Admission criteria is the shortlisting criteria before final selection round. SIESCOMS, Mumbai will shortlist the candidates for Case Analysis, GD-PI round as well as document verification of academic qualifications from school to graduation. The Shortlisting criteria will be as under:

  • SIESCOMS Mumbai will shortlist candidates on the basis of entrance exam scores accepted for admission namely CAT 2018, XAT 2019, CMAT 2019, MAH CET 2019, MAT, ATMA
  • SIESCOMS will consider aggregate scores and not sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for shortlisting.
  • Applicants may submit more than one entrance test score. SIESCOMS will consider the best test score for shortlisting.
  • All the applicants scoring positive marks in the entrance exam are offered the opportunity to attend the Case Analysis/GD/PI Round in the month of March 2019 at the preferred centre out of 12 designated cities.

Final Admission Selection Round Criteria

  • Final admission round at SIESCOMS, Mumbai will consist of Case Analysis, Group Discussion and personal Interview   
  • For the Case Analysis, GD-PI round, there are 11 centres which are SIESCOMS campus, Navi Mumbai; Delhi; Jaipur; Bengaluru; Bhopal; Nagpur; Ahmadabad; Kolhapur; Kolkata; Lucknow and Patna
  • You can select the GD PI Centre as per the scheduled dates at the city while filling up application form for admission
  • The GD/PI process for PGDM admission would be held from March 10 to March 24, 2019 at different Centres.
  • SIESCOMS final selection is based on the merit list which will be prepared after final admission round by awarding 40% weight to Entrance exam score; 5% weight to Case Analysis; 5% weight to Group Discussion (GD); 35% weight to Personal Interview; 10% weight to Academics; 5% Weight to Work Experience

SIESCOMS Mumbai Admission: Expected Cut Off  
SIESCOMS has not prescribed any minimum cut offs in the admission process. It depends upon the quality & number of applications received and varies from year to year for different courses. 

SIES College of Management Studies, Mumbai will decide the Cutoff 2019 on the basis of aggregate percentile score in the entrance exam although candidates should also score well across the sections of the entrance exam.
