XIME Admission Eligibility

  1. XIME eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for Reserved category)
  2. The candidate should have appeared in CAT 2019/XAT 2020/ MAT – May 2019, September 2019, December 2019 & February 2020; ATMA – May 2019, June 2019, July 2019, August 2019, & February 2020; GMAT– 2018, 2019 and 2020
  3. If the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence to determine PGDM admission eligibility would be based on the equivalence certified by the institution/university from where the bachelor's degree is obtained. In case the institution/university does not have any scheme for converting the CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by XIME Bangalore to confirm the Admission eligibility of the candidate. 
  4. A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply
  5. Candidates appearing in final year of graduation should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until then. Besides, they should be completing all their degree examinations before June 2020. Such candidates are required to produce proof of passing the degree examination with the minimum required marks of 50%, latest by September 2020.
  6. Applicants who have un-cleared backlog papers in graduation, are not eligible to apply
  7. Only such tests in 2019-20 where results are declared latest by February 2020 will be considered

XIME Admission Process
XIME admits students with a proven calibre to perform. Admission process to the PGDM programme is facilitated through a rigorous selection process which requires highly competitive entrance exam scores, performances in GD-PI and other criteria.

Following steps are included in the XIME Admission process:

  • Step 1: Must have appeared in one of the eligible entrance tests scores of which are accepted by XIME Bangalore
  • Step 2: The candidate should apply to XIME Bangalore online before the deadline. The application fee should also be paid online.
  • Step 3: Complete and submit the XIME Bangalore application form by the last date
  • Step 4: Candidates are short-listed for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (PI) round from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the programme of XIME Bangalore. The GD-PI process will be conducted in the month of March 2020.
  • Step 5: After the GD-PI round, admission offers are made by XIME to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in GD-PI round, academics, Work Experience among others
  • Step 6: Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in the last week of March 2020 on the basis of Final Score arrived after awarding the weightage scores on all the components.

XIME Admission 2020: Shortlisting & Final Admission Criteria
XIME Bangalore Admission Criteria is a two step process involving the Shortlisting criteria based on entrance exam score and the Final admission selection Criteria based on other key components apart from entrance exam score:

  1. XIME Shortlisting Criteria
    The first part of XIME Admission criteria is the shortlisting criteria before final selection round. XIME Bangalore will shortlist the candidates on the basis of following parameters:
  • XIME will consider aggregate scores and not sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for shortlisting.
  • XIME will short-list the candidates for GD/PI round based on their best available test scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA.
  • Applicants may submit more than one entrance test score. XIME will consider the best test score for shortlisting.
  1. Final Admission Selection Round Criteria
  • Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round)
  • All the shortlisted candidates are eligible to go through the GD/PI round to be held in March 2020
  • Final selection is based on entrance exam score, Academic Performance, Work Experience, performance in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI)
  • Final admission offer based on above parameters will be given to the candidates in the last week of March 2020 by XIME.
