Launched in 2023, IPM courses at TAPMI Manipal are identified from the six major buckets:

  • Foundation in Social Sciences (FSS) to appreciate different perspectives and relevance of Social Sciences as a discipline.
  • Foundation in Management (FM) meant to develop a foundation for students in the Management Sciences area to appreciate different perspectives of Management discipline.
  • Foundation in Analytics and Data Sciences (FADS) to emphasize the applicability of mathematical and analytical methods to solve practical problems to impart the employability skills.
  • Foundation in Humanities and Performing Arts (FHPA) to develop interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills, language proficiency, creativity, and depth and breadth in perspective seeking.
  • Skill-based Workshops (SBW) will expose students to various technical and behavioural skills required to excel in dynamic business contexts.
  • Social Internships and Live Project (SILP) will help students gain the industry experience.

Admissions Process

Eligibility:

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board, with minimum 60% aggregated marks, passed in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 2024 (subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria upon declaration of 10+2 examination results).
  • Minimum 60% aggregated marks in Std. 10th
  • English as a compulsory subject in HSC/(10+2) Examination.

 

Entrance test:

Students should have appeared in one of the following entrance tests either in the current academic year (2024) or previous academic year (2023)

  • IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore
  • JIPMAT conducted by National Testing Agency
  • JEE mains conducted by the National Testing Agency
  • SAT examination (administered on behalf of the College Board by the Educational Testing Service)
  • Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
  • Manipal Entrance Test (MET) conducted by MAHE

Shortlisting Criteria

  • Students will be shortlisted and informed at their registered email address
  • Thereafter, candidates will have to appear for an online interview and micro-presentation (20-25 minutes duration overall)
