TAPMI gets A*** grading from CRISIL

T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, an autonomous B-School ranked highly by research agencies and business magazines and widely recognised by the industry for the quality education it offers, has been graded A*** by CRISIL at the national and state (Karnataka) levels for the year 2012. For the second consecutive year, CRISIL has reaffirmed this highest grading at both the levels. The gradation is valid up to October 2013.

TAPMI gets A*** grading from CRISIL

In April 2012, TAPMI earned the global accreditation by AACSB International with the unique distinction of being the only AICTE-approved business school in India to have achieved this feat. Dr R C Natarajan, director, said accreditation and grading testify the high quality, outcome-based management education and research orientation at TAPMI in an ongoing basis.

Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited (CRISIL) was established in 1988. The company, a subsidiary of Standard & Poors, is an agency primarily engaged in credit ratings of companies and organizations to facilitate decision making in finance-related issues. In 2010, CRISIL diversified into grading of B-Schools and their programs in India. As on date, 22 B-Schools have been graded at different levels.
