Global thinker & HCL Vice-Chair Vineet Nayar to deliver keynote @ Indian Management Conclave 2013
Globally recognized management thinker and Vice-Chairman of HCL Technology Vineet Nayar will deliver keynote address at the 4th Indian Management Conclave (IMC) Conference & Awards 2013 on August 1-2 in New Delhi.
Globally recognized management thinker and Vice-Chairman of HCL Technology Vineet Nayar will deliver the much anticipated keynote address at the 4th Indian Management Conclave (IMC) Awards & Conference 2013 on August 1-2 in New Delhi.
Mr Nayar, a globally recognized management thinker, architected HCLs Employees First, Customers Second (EFCS) strategy, which transformed companys business, through its inverted organizational structure. He is the author of highly acclaimed management book Employees First, Customers Second: Turning Conventional Management Upside Down, published by the Harvard Business Press in June 2010.
A management graduate from XLRI Jamshedpur, Mr Nayar joined HCLT in 1985. In 1993, he founded Comnet, where he incubated the Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) industry, which is today a multi-billion dollar IT outsourcing segment. In 2005, Mr Nayar became President of HCLT and led a remarkable turnaround of the company, which saw its revenues and employee base triple. Under his leadership, the HCL Technologies has grown to be a $4.5 billion global technology company. He served as the companys CEO from 2007 till January 2013. He was a widely respected Indian voice at global forums like Davos World Economic Forum.
His work at HCL and the book earned Mr Nayar worldwide fame and he was ranked amongst the top management and business thinker in the Thinkers 50 List, the definitive list of the worlds top 50 business thinkers.
The 4th annual Indian Management Conclave 2013, organized by MBAUniverse.com on August 1-2, will be themed on Enhancing the value of MBA. The theme explores how all stakeholders can make Indian MBA more relevant and sustainable.
Starting this year, IMC will have two key components: IMC Conference & IMC Awards.
IMC Conference 2013:The 2-day IMC Conference, to be held on August 1 & 2, will consist of Keynotes by Management thought-leaders, Panel discussions, Case-study presentations by IMC Award Winners, and Workshops by partners like AACSB International, EFMD/EQUIS, Harvard Business Publishing amongst others.

IMC Awards 2013:
Starting this year, IMC Awards will be presented to B-schools & Universities for their cutting edge case-studies/initiatives on IMC themes.
The IMC Awards have evoked a very positive response from all stakeholders. More than 50 well known B-schools have already registered for the awards so far.
The nomination process for awards is open till June 10. B-schools & University MBA Departments can share their successful initiative on one or more sub-themes below:
Theme 1: Effective Demand Management: Developing successful engagement programs & finding niches
Theme 2: Improving Core Product: Revisiting the Program Architecture
Theme 3: Improving Core Product: Innovations in Curriculum Delivery
Theme 4: Effective Industry-Institute engagement

The best 3 initiatives in each category will be highlighted and awarded at the IMC Awards Ceremony & Conference. An eminent jury comprising Top B-school Directors and VCs will judge the nominations.
