Great Lakes signs MoU with HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management

With an endeavor to provide best international opportunity to its students, the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai has signed an agreement of cooperation with HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management which will get effective from December 1, 2013. HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is the first private business school of Germany to be accredited by AACSB.

The agreement of cooperation between Great Lakes and HHL enables student exchange from both the institutes to spend one semester at the partner institute. The tuition fee is waived for exchange students, while the living expenses will be borne by the students only. The exchange program is for a semester and is open to students of all programs at Great Lakes.

Prof Frank Hoffman, Director, International Relations who visited Great Lakes Chennai campus recently was highly impressed after interacting with faculty members and the students of Great Lakes Institute of Management.
The agreement also encourages exchange of Study Materials and exchange of teaching staffs with the objective of giving lectures and seminars. Under this exchange the faculty shall be spending one year at Leipzig. The faculties from the Great Lakes Institute can also participate in research programs and can visit the school in Germany on short trips for joint research work.

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai is a dream child of Prof. Bala V. Balachandran, J.L. Kellogg Distinguished Professor of Accounting and Information Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, USA, to bring Chennai in the Global map of B Schools. It offers a full time PGDM programme and a Post Graduate Executive Programme in Management.
