The ICFAI Group organized NJ Yasaswy Commemoration Lectures at various IBS campuses on Oct 8; 2013 in honor of its founder Late NJ Yasaswy.
Some of the eminent speakers from industry and academia delivered lectures on different topics at different IBS campuses. They include Kavil Ramachandran, Thomas Schmidheiny Chair of Family Business and Wealth Management at Indian School of Business, former advisor to the Government of India, World Bank and SEBI; Anand Halve, co-founder of Chlorophyll Brand & Communications Consultancy Ltd ; Dr FC Kohli, former Deputy Chairman, TCS; Mr. MS Sahoo, Secretary, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India ; Mr. GerdHoefner, Managing Director & CEO, Siemens Technology & Services Pvt. Ltd and others.
Mr Kavil Ramachandran delivered lecture on Institution Building: Challenges, Experiences and Learning at ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad campus. He said that the greatest institutes around the globe share a few common features, namely– a clear sense of purpose, values, being change agents as well as adapters, selfless and dynamic leadership and interpersonal trust amongst employees.

MR. Anand Halve delivered a lecture on Higher Education: Thought-Starters for Mind Training at IBS, Pune ; Dr. F.C. Kohli talked about Computerization for India- Challenges Ahead at IBS Mumbai ;Mr. MS Sahoo, Secretary, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India addressed a lecture on Investor Protection in Indian Capital Market at IBS Gurgaon ; Mr. Gerd Hoefner talked about the Challenges & Issues in Cross-Cultural Management at IBS Bangalore while Dr. Mallika Sarabhai, Publisher, Activist, Writer, Actor and Communicator delivered a lecture titled , Towards Success: The Path Less Taken.

Late Mr. N J Yasaswy (1950-2011) was the founder of the ICFAI Group of educational institutions. Mr. Yasaswy started the ICFAI group as a single institute in 1985 without governmental sop or institutional funding in an era where government support was always the norm.
The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) is a not-for-profit Society Established in the year 1984 with an objective of imparting world-class high quality education.
