The General Awareness section in SNAP 2012 was a relief when compared to the tough paper SNAP in the previous year. There were quite a lot of easy questions from themes like Current Affairs and General questions such as the one on Olympics Tennis winner, Sushil Kumars brand association, Royal Enfields parent company, owners of the Delhi and Hyderabad airport etc. There were quite a number of questions on Indias constitution, geography, history, economy etc which were not too difficult for a well-prepared student. Overall, the paper had more easy questions than the difficult ones. Experts are of a view that a good time allocation strategy for this section would be around 15 minutes.
