IBSAT 2013kicked off from Monday, December 16, 2013. The test was conducted successfully across 95 centers all over India.

IBSAT, the gateway for admission to the 9 IBS B schools namely IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bangalore, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Pune, IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur is an important online computer based MBA entrance test conducted across India by ICFAI Foundation during 22 days examination window beginning from December 16, 2013 to January 7, 2014.

According to a few students the paper was tough, with the Quantitative aptitude section being complex. However the Verbal ability and Data interpretation sections were found to be easier.

IBSAT 2013 Exam Pattern IBSAT 2013exam patternis based on Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Itincludes 4 sections: Verbal ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative aptitude, Data Sufficiency & data interpretation. The total number of questions is 140 which are to be solved in 120 mins.There is no negative marking inIBSAT 2013 Earlier the last date for registration to IBSAT 2013 was December 16, 2013 which has now been extended to December 26, 2013.

Acceptance of CAT/GMAT scores The scores of this examination are accepted by all the nine IBS B-schools. Scores of CAT 2013 and GMAT 2010 onwards will also be accepted by the IBS B schools in place ofIBSAT 2013and such candidates with high scores in either of these two tests do not require appearing in IBSAT 2013. It is a good opportunity to get a good B school for those who might miss a very good score in CAT and GMAT.

IBSAT 2013 Selection Process IBSAT 2013results will be announced on January 20, 2014 and based on their scores in IBSAT 2013/CAT-2013/GMAT-2010 onwards; the qualified candidates will be called for briefing sessions, to be held in 40 cities across India from February 1, 2014 to February 10, 2014. The candidates shall have to present themselves for next round of selection process comprising Group Discussion and Personal Interview, atIBS Hyderabadon the designated dates during 18th to 26th February 2014. Past academic record of the candidate will also be taken into account before final selection.
