Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad signed an MoU with the Arizona State University (ASU), USA, on broad ranging bi-lateral collaborations in Business Management Education in a simple ceremony at IMT Ghaziabad campus. This tie-up is aligned to IMT Ghaziabads continuing focus on innovation in management education in India amidst the shifting dynamics of globalization and increased competitiveness.

Dr. Bibek Banerjee, Director of IMT Ghaziabad and Academic Mentor of IMT Group,said on the occasion,Our multi-faceted network of international collaborations with some of the best foreign institutions of the world makes IMT-Ghaziabad a unique institution for those aspirants who seek to pack in a lifetime of learning in a short span of time.

Included in this partnership between IMT and Arizona State University, are two academic programs where students will have the ability to earn degrees from both institutions. In the 2+1 IMTG-ASU program, students will spend 2 years in IMT Ghaziabad and 1 year in ASU. In 1+1 IMTG-ASU program, aspirants will spend 1 year in IMT Ghaziabad followed by 1 year in ASU. Both models will have internship engagements built in to the programs. Students at IMT Ghaziabad will get direct access to Masters Degree programs, especially in the domains of Business and Decision Analytics, Sustainable Systems, Environmental Management and Resource Management.

Dr. Ajay Vinze, Earl and Gladys Davis, Professor of Business and Associate Dean of International Programs at W. P. Carey School of Business, and Vice Provost of Arizona State University, said, Arizona State University ranks fifth on a list of the top universities favored by employers for producing the best-qualified graduates, according to a survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal. The W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University is one of the largest business schools in the United States with more than 1,500 graduate students and more than 8,300 undergraduates.

Institute of Management Technology wasestablishedin1980by industrialist Mahendra Nath. IMTs educational programmes are recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It offers PGDM, PGDM (Executive), PGDM (Part time), collaborative programs like DBA (Doctor in Business Administration), and MBA in Service management and Executive learning and development programs.

There are 420 seats in IMT Ghaziabads 2 year PGDM course. The total fees for the2-year Full-Time PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad including food and lodging was Rs 15 lakhs for the academic session 2013-15. IMT Ghaziabad has been ranked overall as No: 17 by MBAUniverse.com B school Ranking 2013-14
