The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is to hold the 2014 Annual Conference of the Emerging Markets Conference Board at its Noida campus from 9-11 January 2014. The theme of the conference is Listening to Consumers of Emerging Markets.

There are three main objectives of the conference:
1. To provide a platform where marketing practitioners and academicians share and discuss the contemporary marketing issues and challenges in the changing consumer context in emerging economies.
2. To share scholarly research on emerging opportunities and threats in the changing market context in emerging economies.
3. To analyze and understand the underlying behavioral changes among consumer communities leading to the emergence of more demanding and savvy customers in emerging economies.
The inaugural session of the conference on January 9, 2014 will be addressed byDr. Devi Singh, Director IIM Lucknow .

The eminent speakers who will be sharing their ideas in the conference include Prof. Jagdish Sheth - Charles H.
