CAT 2014 registration has completed 56 days as it started on Aug 6, 2014 and is going to close just before midnight today. Since there were number of confusions and clarifications to these queries were provided by IIMs on September 29, 2014 aspirants were anticipating extension in CAT 2014 registration date.

CAT 2014 registration also remained suspended from Sep 28 to Sep 29, 2014 which made a good case to expect extension in registration date for CAT 2014. However, with the response from Dr Kapoor all the speculation on any extension in CAT 2014 registration come to an end.

Register now: Dont wait

Only a few hours are left for CAT 2014 registration. Those who have not been able to register for CAT 2014 and are eligible should not wait any longer and proceed to register immediately. They should however, keep all the details ready before proceeding for registration.

Big changes in CAT 2014 registration process

CAT 2014 registration was opened on August 6, 2014 with many changes which are rated aspirant friendly.

- For CAT 2014 all the aspirants need to register on line and have to pay the necessary registration fee on-line only. The dual on line and off line payment facility does no longer exist.
- CAT 2014 aspirants have to pay online only through credit cards, net banking facility
- Payment of CAT 2014 registration fee is to be done in the end this year. It has saved aspirants from losing the money at the time of beginning pof registration process.
- Aspirants do not have to schedule their test, date and test centre in CAT 2014 registration process.
- Allotment of slot and date to appear in CAT 2014 exam will be made by IIMs
