CMAT 2015: Top CMAT accepting colleges; Admission 2015

Many highly ranked B schools in India are approved by AICTE and would accept CMAT 2015 second test scores in admission to their MBA/PGDM programmes for batch 2015-17. AICTE has opened the registration process for the Second National Level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2015 to be conducted from February 19 to 22, 2015. The second CMAT aims to select candidates for the PGDM batch 2015-17.

CMAT: exam with a difference

CMAT is an exam with a difference. AICTE conducts 2 computer based CMAT exams in a year to select suitable students for admission in management programmes. The on-line Registration process for second CMAT 2015 was opened on November 6, 2014 and will continue till January 5, 2015. Better of scores obtained in the 2 CMAT exams will be considered for admission in PGDM/MBA batch 2015-17. The first CMAT 2015 was held in the month of September 2014 in a 4 day testing window by AICTE.

All qualify

Unlike other management entrance exams CMAT doesnt disqualify any test takers. According to AICTE policy guidelines The results will rank all the candidates who appeared in the test based on their aptitude towards the management education in the order of their merit. Candidates will not be declared as eliminated from the admission process in the AICTE approved management programme. On the contrary the aim is to facilitate the institutions to select the suitable candidates as per the rank awarded by CMAT. Going by this process, candidates with marks in negative and as low as -20 or so find their names appearing in the merit list of qualified candidates.
