While the speculation on day was over with the announcement of Dec 27 as date for declaration of CAT 2014 result in the evening the anxiety however persisted on time of the CAT 2014 result since the evening could go upto any time in the night also. Now with the understanding on expected time of declaration of CAT 2014 result at 7 PM it will also bring relief to the CAT 2014 test takers.

Expect great rush and slow access to result
Around 1.70 lakh candidates are expected to throng the CAT 2014 site immediately on the declaration of CAT 2014 result today at 7PM. CAT 2014 convener Dr Rohit Kapoor has assured that the candidates may not come across problems in accessing the site as due measures have been taken to counter any such problem. Still you cannot rule out the technical glitch due to heavy rush and the CAT 2014 site may take time to open.

1.97 lakh candidates had registered for CAT 2014 and downloaded their Admit Cards from CAT 2014 site. The actual CAT 2014 test takers were however much less than this number as around 1.70 lakh appeared in CAT 2014 on Nov 16 and 22, 2014. It is quite possible that no technical issue is encountered by the CAT 2014 test takers while downloading their result today.

Despite the final checks going on during the second week of December it was not possible for CAT Centre 2014 to announce the CAT 2014 result declaration date.
