Centralized Admission Process(CAP) for admission 2015-17 batch of MBA/MMS/PGDM programmes across Maharashtra for Maharashtra domicile as well as for outside Maharashtra candidates has already commenced on May 16, 2015 despite all the turmoil and disturbances that called for intervention by judiciary also.

 

With a view to help and ensure a smooth get through in CAP for the aspirants seeking admission in MBA/ MMS/ PGDM programmes in more than 400 B schools including the top rated ones like SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, N L Dalmiya, Dugra Devi Saraf, IESMCRC, Chethna, Kohinoor, PUMBA, Singhad, DY Patil, we bring forth a few important do’s which will help you to coordinate the things at your end.

 

Eligibility to attend CAP

 

According to DTE Maharashtra “Candidates securing Non Zero Positive marks/score in MAH-MBA/ MMS-CET 2015 or GMAT/CAT/ MAT/ ATMA / XAT/ CMAT 2015 (conducted by AICTE) / Association CET/ Any other equivalent CET will be eligible to get admission to MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM course in the State of Maharashtra”

 

However, the candidates must duly register themselves for MAH CET CAP 2015 by paying a requisite fee to DTE Maharashtra online if not already registered to be eligible to participate in CAP 2015.

 

If you appeared for MAH CET 2015 you are required to login as already registered candidate. If you are registering new, please go through the new registration login.

 

Those who register new shall be required to pay registration/application fee of Rs. 2000/- which includes late fee. Those who registered for MAH CET 2015 exam after Feb 27, 2015 had to pay late fee of Rs. 1000/-. The same rule has been applied by DTE Maharashtra for the CAP 2015 registration.

 

The CAP 2015 Registration was opened by DTE on May 16 and will continue till May 30, 2015. 

 

Remember the important dates in CAP

 

Candidates will be called for document verification, updation and confirmation of application form for admission in person at ARC for Maharashtra as well as Outside Maharashtra State candidature with effect from May 16, 2015 to June 1, 2015.
 
Please check that all the documents have been kept ready by you as per the DTE Maharashtra requirement.

 

Provisional and final Merit lists

 

DTE Maharashtra will display the provisional merit lists for Maharashtra state as well as outside Maharashtra state candidates on June 2, 2015. 3 days from June 3 to June 5, 2015 will be given to the candidates for Submission of grievance, if any, for Maharashtra, All India and J&K candidates, at ARC where they got their documents verified.

 

The final merit list will be available on June 6, 2015.

 

Seat allotment

 

Admission to the B school through CAP and allotment of seat shall be strictly on the basis of the merit number in the respective merit list for Maharashtra State/All India candidates as per the options given by the candidate and the number of seats available for that candidate during the process of allotment.
 

Merit number

 

Each Maharashtra State candidate who has appeared and qualified the MAH-MBA/MMS -CET 2015 will be assigned a State level Merit Number on the basis of percentile obtained in the test. MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2015.

 

For All India seats the relevant state level merit number will be assigned to the candidates on the basis of performance in CAT 2014/CMAT 2015/GMAT/MAT 2015/XAT 2015/ATMA apart from MAH-MBA/MMS‐CET 2015. If the candidate has appeared for multiple examinations, the best percentile shall be considered to assign the merit number.

 

Check list for MAH CET CAP 2015

 

- Thoroughly check that all the documents including the hard copy of your score card have been kept ready

 

- Ensure before registering for CAP and applying for a particular University’s programme that you fulfil the eligibility criteria of the said University

 

- Please note that the score of MAH‐MBA/ MMS‐CET 2015 will be valid only for the academic year 2015‐16, so gear up for CAP

 

- Please confirm the admission by reporting at the Respective Institute mentioned in allotment list with the identity proof, original certificates needed for admission

DTE Maharashtra has specified that they will not separately or individually communicate with the candidates. It, therefore, is the duty of the candidates to check their names in merit, find the allotment and timely report for the admission.
