S P Jain Institute of management & Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai, one of the top rated Private B schools in India will begin its admission application process for flagship PGDM 2016-18 batch on September 21, 2015. The top rated B-school will accept CAT 2015; XAT 2016 and GMAT scores (test taken from January 2013 onwards to 15th December 2015). Candidates will have the opportunity to opt for two specializations at the time of application.The last date to apply at SPJIMR is December 7, 2015.

SPJIMR has recently been ranked as the 16th best B-School in the Asia Pacific Region by QS Global 200 rankings. Acceptable Exam scores for admission
SPJIMR will accept CAT 2015, XAT 2016 and GMAT (test taken between scores for Indian Nationals and GMAT (test taken between January 2013 to 15th December 2015) scores. Aspirants who explore admission opportunity in SPJIMR need to score high sectional as well as overall percentile in these exams.

Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015, gateway to PGDM programmes to premier B schools like IIMs, SPJIMR, MDI, IMT is scheduled to be held on November 29, 2015 across 136 test cities in India.  CAT 2015 aspirants apart from registering and appearing in CAT 2015 have to apply to SPJIMR to seek admission in session 2016-17. Registration for CAT 2015 will remain open till September 20, 2015.

XAT 2016 will be conducted on January 3, 2016 in 47 cities across the country in a single session. XAT 2016 will be a paper pencil mode test of 210 minutes (3½ hours) duration. Registration for XAT 2016 will remain open till November 30, 2015.

Online application process
Aspirants seeking admission to PGDM 2016-18 at SPJIMR, must complete and submit the application form online when the admission process opens on September 21, 2015.

Application fee is Rs. 1200/- (Rs One thousand two hundred only) The fee can be paid through credit card or net banking

2 specialization choices at application stage
Applicants to PGDM admission 2016-18 batch at SPJIMR need to opt for two specializations at the time of submitting application. Selecting 2 options at this stage means that the aspirants who are not short listed for the first option will be considered for the second option. The outcome of the first option will have no bearing on the process for considering the applicant for the second option.

The programme offers four specializations – Finance, Information Management, Marketing, Operations. The participants are required to choose their specialisation at the application stage itself. A choice of specialization at the application stage at SPJIMR helps to achieve segmentation at the time of admission based on differentiated need of recruiting organizations. Participants also develop a clear and sharp focus based on their academic background and skills.

Excellent profile is the selection criterion

Apart from high overall as well as sectional percentiles, candidates with excellent academic profile and work experience will stand fair chances of admission at SPJIMR.

The selection process for admission to PGDM 2016-18 batch will assess not only the intellectual readiness in terms of academics but also emotional readiness, work experience, extracurricular activities and aptitude for and befitting the institute’s mission of value based leadership.

Intake at SPJIMR
The flagship PGDM programme 2016-18 at SPJIMR will have an intake of 240 students for Indian Nationals. An additional 36 seats will be available for PIO/OCI and Foreign Nationals. Hence the total intake for session 2016-18 will be 276 seats

SPJIMR: Fee structure

The two year fee of the flagship PGDM 2016-18 programme as shared by SPJIMR would be Rs.14.50 lakhs. The fee can be revised in accordance with the policy of the B-school.
