IMT allocated 199 seats under Global student exchange programme; first in India to get the high number

Under its Students Exchange Program, the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) has been allocated 199 seats from partner institutes in foreign countries like France, Germany, Austria, South Africa, USA, Norway, Spain, Mexico, Belgium, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and UK. This is the first time in India that such huge numbers of seats are allocated by international partner institutes to any Indian business school as an exchange program for a semester term for students.

Announcing the achievement on Sep 29, 2015 IMT, a premier B-school group with its flagship institute situated in Ghaziabad has shared that the Group has been allocated total number of 199 seats for a term by its partner institutes across the globe under its Students Exchange Program.

IMTs exchange program is an exclusive and distinguished program, which provides opportunities for students to explore diverse cultures, interact with international faculty and students of the best business schools in the world. IMT Group aims to offer quality business education to its students and help in facilitating other academic collaborations for faculty exchange with global institutes by collaborating with international partners, Speaking about the achievement of IMT, Dr Jayanthi Ranjan, Associate Dean International Relations IMT Group said, In India, this is the first that such huge numbers of seats are allocated by global partners to any Indian business school under a student exchange program.

Speaking about the other related programmes she said IMT also conducts regular Short Term Exchange Programs (STEP) and India based Regional studies Immersion programs for partners and non-partners institutes in specific India immersion themes. These programs consist of intense study modules involving industry visits, Industrial practicums, lectures, projects and cultural tours. Throughout the year, around 80 students visit IMT to be a part of various STEP theme related programs. By adding the students of STEP and foreign exchange students, IMT stands at the top in terms of students exchange pool in India.

IMTs list of partner countries includes Korea, Taiwan, Poland, Morocco, France, Germany, Austria, South Africa, USA, Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway, Thailand, Spain, Mexico, and UK. The outgoing student exchange program has been one of the biggest achievements for the institute.
