MDI Gurgaon Summer Placement 2015: over in 2.5 days; sees 22% higher average stipend

MDI Gurgaon concluded its Summer Placement 2015 in 2.5 days breaking its own record of 3.5 days in 2014. Summer internship is a mandatory requirement for the fulfillment of the MBA curriculum.

This was reflected in the hiring practices of established firms, testament to which is the just concluded Summer Placement Process at MDI Gurgaon for the Class of 2015 17 which was completed in a record time of 2.5 days.

A total of 241 PGPM students participated in the Summer Placement 2015 which entails them with summer Internships. The students got more offers for summer internship from more recruiters.

A total of 60 students of PGP-HRM participated in the Summer Placement 2015 process.

Average stipend up
The average stipend for the entire batch of 301 students in the 2 year Post-Graduate Programme has increased to 1.41 lakhs in 2015 from Rs. 1.16 lakhs in 2014. The highest stipend offered is a whopping Rs. 3,00,000.

A total of 98 companies participated in the whole process of Summer Placements 2015 at MDI Gurgaon. The past recruiters have continued with their belief on MDIs quality of students and participated actively offering handsome stipend packages.

Staying true to its stellar reputation, Snapdeal made the highest number of offers, recruiting 17 students for various roles. The campus saw an onset of new prestigious organizations including Anheuser-Busch InBev, Edelweiss Financial Services, HCL Infosystems, Hindustan Unilever, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, ITC Ltd., Marico, Microsoft, Multi Screen Media, o3 Capital, and Saint Gobain among others.
