CAT 2015: Mock to be enabled in October end; Practice test to be full length one

CAT Centre 2015 would be making available the CAT 2015 mock test towards the end of October instead of earlier announced date of October 15, 2015. Experts at CAT Centre 2015 and convener CAT 2015 are incessantly working to enable it on CAT 2015 website at the earliest possible. Sharing with MBAUniverse.com, Prof Tathagata Bandyopadhyay, Convener CAT 2015 and faculty at IIM Ahmedabad says We have been working on the mock test. I expect this to be uploaded at the end October.

CAT 2015 aspirants should not wait the practice test to be available on CAT 2015 website on October 15, 2015 now as mentioned in the Press Release. CAT 2015 Announcement press release specifically mentions Tutorial to understand the format of the examination will be available on the CAT website from 15th October 2015. Candidates are advised to work on the tutorials, available on the website, well in advance
CAT 2015 aspirants will have one month to understand the exam format comprising MCQ & Non-MCQs and practice the questions based on the mock test to be uploaded on CAT 2015 website by the end of October 2015.

Full length Mock
CAT 2015 convener proposes to make available the full length practice test for CAT 2015 exam. Sharing with MBAUniverse.com Prof Tathagata Bandyopadhyay says I am in favour of a full length mock test keeping in view the changes in the test format so that everyone gets the experience of the test.

-- Details on navigation tools-how to mark, unmark and review the answer will be made available with the practice test
-- CAT 2015 Mock test would contain MCQ and Non-MCQ type questions to enable the aspirants to understand and practice the questions on similar format.

CAT 2015 aspirants eagerly waiting
With CAT 2015 exam totally revamped, the publishing of new exam pattern and practice test will help not only the first timers in CAT 2015 but also those who have been burning mid night oil to crack CAT 2015.
Last year also CAT aspirants had to wait as the practice test was enabled on October 28, instead of on October 15, 2015.

CAT 2015: Look beyond normal surprises
According to Prof S K Agarwal, expert on Verbal Ability and mentor for CAT 2015 preparation, candidates may expect any form of surprise element in exam contents. The questions in CAT 2015 may be twisted. What has never appeared in CAT may appear in CAT 2015. The MCQs may take the shape of Non-MCQs and the vice-versa. Standard type of questions which the candidates normally see in the test may disappear and questions in different format may appear.

Going by the reputation of CAT testing pattern, surprise elements appear in CAT even when there is no change in exam pattern. Now with so many changes especially when CAT 2015 has totally changed face, a candidate should expect more twists and turns in the test content.

CAT 2015 will be a 3 hours computer based exam with individual sectional time constraint of 60 minutes. It will be a single day 2 session exam to be held on Nov 29, 2015. The exam is mandatory entrance test for admission to PGP/MBA 2016-18 batch in IIMs and other top rated B-schools. According to CAT Centre 2015, Admit card for CAT 2015 will be made available on October 25, 2015 from 1 PM onwards.
