BIMTECH Placements 2016: Records 30% rise in International Package; Average salary up

PGDM batch 2014-2016 at Birla Institute of Management and Technology (BIMTECH) Greater Noida has recorded higher salary packages in Placement 2016 with more recruiters making placement offers to the students. The international placement package has gone up by 30% while the highest domestic package has also recorded an increase of 10%. The average pay package has also gone up at BIMTECH.

With 95% of the batch already placed for niche roles, the placement 2016 at BIMTECH has shown an upward trend in comparison to placement 2015. According to Prof K. K. Krishnan, Chairperson Centre for Corporate Relations & professor Centre for Insurance & Risk Management, BIMTECH As on date, 95% of our students-387 BIMTECHIANs -have been placed in 108 corporates in India and abroad. (Six more corporate processes are under way.)

Key Trends in placement 2016 BIMTECH has a consistent record of very good placement. The placement season 2016 is no exception to this achievement. As scheduled, the campus placement process at BIMTECH began on time. 387 students comprising 95% of the largest ever batch have so far got placement in 108 companies.

Highest & Average salary up The upward swing in placement 2016 at BIMTECH Greater Noida shows a rising trend in the MBA job market. Beating the slowdown in placement offers, the placement season 2016 at BIMTECH saw a 10% rise in the highest domestic & Average salary. The highest domestic placement offer has gone up from to Rs. 12 lakhs in 2016 from Rs 11 lakhs in 2015 and average compensation has gone up to Rs. 7.35 lakhs in 2016 from Rs 7 lakhs last year.

30% rise in International salary BIMTECH students have recorded phenomenal rise in international pay packages in placement 2016. The foreign salary has gone up to Rs. 26 lakhs in 2016 as compared to Rs.20 lakhs last year.

108 recruiters at the campus Placement 2016 has so far witnessed 108 recruiters with 35 first time recruiters. 6 more corporate houses are to visit the BIMTECH campus shortly for placement. The placement 2016 at BIMTECH started with a surge with quality companies pitching in early.

Among the traditional recruiters who regularly recruit from BIMTECH were the IT biggies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, HCL, Cognizant, Birla Soft Newgen Software etc. Among the consultancies KPMG, E & Y etc. visited the Campus. Besides, top Banks like HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, were among the other great companies that recruited from BIMTECH.

Top recruiters-India The top 3 domestic recruiters in Placement 2016 at BIMTECH were TCS (29 Students), Kotak Mahindra Bank(16 Students) and Bajaj Finserv (14 Students).
